    prosapia or familia both mean family in latin Latin's a bugger, they've got different words for the same meanings depending on the context. Have you ever seen 'Life of Brian?' Think the whole point of latin was to make sure that normal people didn't understand what the pope was saying, or of course to be able say one thing and then later change it to mean another, but surely the Roman Catholic Church wouldn't do that?! Personally I'd rather cut my arm off than have the language of the pope written on it but we're all different I suppose .................

    Been trying to ring that mobile number all day, it's switched off. Was hoping to go over and maybe put a table up with a few collars on, obviously with a decent donation to the funds.     Just checked with Sean, it's the Sunday of the BH weekend, so the 24th August. This was an excellent day out last year, except for the bit when the very big man in a vest tried to take photos of my winkle when I went to the toilet .......... Deffo not a show to be missed. August is looking good then, 10th is the EDRD show, 17th is Merseyside Club show, and this on the 24th, happy days! No B + Q trips for me until at least September!!!!

    Indeed we did! Remember the photos of the Presa type thing he found on the net and tried to pass as his own, then when photos were required he said she'd died! What a dick. H + B, seems our pm's were dead right then! Always good to be proved right!!

    Looking forward to a good day in the sunshine at the N. Staffs Hunt Kennels show then! Make a change for decent weather ........... the rain was coming in sideways at Holmfirth show last week, horrible day. Plus of course, nice weather means the girlies come out with less on .............

    I was once in "Bronson's Palace" didnt get to meet him though Had a bit of a run in with CB's "gang" a few years ago, pub where I work the door (for 19 years now) has a no tattoos policy and some bloke who looked like a smelly old tramp tried to come in, he had tatts all over his hands, so I refused him, 2 hours later there's 5 of them ............ telling me I better let them in because one of them is Bronsons son's Godfather ........... I told them again no chance and they kicked off a bit, went on for a few weeks, then I got this in the post to the pub ............. Fell

    What a load of smug twats they were! Land Sharks ............ They stole that name from the name the Plod in London used to describe Pitbulls, except they weren't using it in a positive way to big themselves up. Be interesting to see what would happen if one of those dogs accidentally bit someone, and in court the Plod has to explain why he took a dog he knew to be capable of inflicting serious injury ........ so capable that he described it on TV as a Land Shark!!! Haven't heard back from my offer to provide the Met Police with abseiling gear yet ........

    Had a cracking day out at the Staffs Moorland show today, forgot I was supposed to be on my stall more than once (thanks Mick and Sue for your help on that one!) Seen a couple of outstanding dogs today, 2 of which should be on this thread: Sire to the pup on page 1: Uncle to the pup: Met and spoke to the lads who bred this litter today, and if they say nothing else got to the bitch then nothing did, they aren't divvies, they know the score. Hope that post earns enough points to pester you lads again when my pup is older!!! Genuinely good to meet yo

    None here, but just imagine a lot of rain and wind and you've got the picture!!! I think it's me, been to a few shows in the Pennine area now and every one is very very very wet and windy, luckily I met some decent lads otherwise a wasted day. Plenty of lads there though, some good looking dogs too. But the f*****g rain .....................
