  1. Am not a Terrierman so not in the position to make a choice, but £73 for the transmitter? Have heard lads get them cheaper than that. What are you on with your "copies" thing? As far as I'm concerned I made the first collars for these transmitters (on here almost definitely) last year, the one that appeared recently was made 8 or 9 months after I made some. But thanks for the bump anyway
  2. £2 for 1st Class recorded, £4 for Special delivery. Post price would be the same for up to 3 collars.
  3. You could be right, too many late nights stomping around fields looking for J's imaginary friends ........
  4. It was mate! Am happy now I've got somewhere to chuck people out of! "Name's not down, you're not coming in .................. "
  5. 2 things. Why would a fox be "tugging" on the fastening that is inside the collar against the dogs neck? Do you think I would advertise anything that I wasn't 100% sure was up to the job? I would hope lads on here would know that I value my pride and integrity against a quick tenner for a collar that wasn't up to the job. If we're going to try and make c**ts of people on here, then I'm quite happy to play that game too. The "fastening" is nothing magical or mysterious, just good old Hook and Loop Tape, only not the normal weak stuff you buy, it is the higher rated stuff, tha
  6. Errrrrrrrrrrrr no, how difficult is it to make a collar ? Do as you like and whats a heed ? Am I reading this right? Because it's seeming to me that you've got a problem with me. If you have and you would like to discuss it then either here, pm or phone (07738 930466, on 24 hours) suits me. If no problem then all's well.

  9. It is indeed very similar to the one originally posted by Leveller, which in turn looked remarkably similar to the ones I made for an Irish gentleman last year. What came first the chicken or the egg? Who cares, but I can tell you I made a collar for the Ortovox box a long time, ago, this is just the design refined for production. If anyone would like to run a comparison and report back their thoughts regarding quality and service then I'd be more than happy to provide a sample
  10. See seperate post in Terrier section for more details on construction etc, Have started making these for sale now, had made a couple but only to order, now here they are in "production" 1.5" Wide collar with attachment for Tx. 1" Wide collar with attachment for Tx. Collars are 2 layers thick, very flexible, but strong as f**k, normal guarantee applies, lifetime warranty, no f*****g about, you break it I'll replace it. If your dogs chews it, then you can f**k off! All usual colours. £10 each plus post. Or collection on Merseyside, or meet me at a Terrie
  11. All done! Will post them in the for sale section, but here's a couple of pics ........ Started with a 38mm wide collar (1.5") because the transmitter is that width/depth: Then tried it on a 1 inch collar with no problem at all: Then the obligatory shiny one: Basically the collars are 2 ply (layers) thick, this adds about 10 grammes to the weight of a single ply one, but, the 2 ply ones are far better, they have rows of stitching along the length of the collar, this will keep the collars straight edges, with only 1 layer they were very flimsy and look
  12. I wish I had mates like you .................... No, that's wrong, I just wish I had mates!
  13. It will last the same amount of time as the equivalent LA pack, it's only the technology that's different, Amps are still Amps. Have used Lithium Polymer packs on radio controlled models in the past, now they're expensive!!! And they explode randomly when charging ............ These Li Ion packs are definitely a step forward but there are still better battery packs available, if money were no object.
  14. Well, when I was one of the blessed who actually met Cammo Man, I asked where he had got his suit from ................ He told me he found it on ebay when he was searching for something else, I have to say I didn't believe him, I thought he must have been searching for a snug fitting spandex suit for his gimp play. Then I just typed in 195/60/15 M+S, looking for tyres for a mate ........... And amongst other things this little lot appeared!!!!
  15. I hope it is! Then there'll at least be a use for that coupling you ordered with the pink collars ............
  16. Assuming it wasn't 'Tic lads twatting him for losing ............
  17. It is indeed, thank you. Reason why I wanted one in my paws was to make sure the battery and switch etc were still accessible when fixed to the collar, will have a mooch later and maybe buy one, much easier to make one with the box in front of me. Thanks though, appreciated.
  18. I had made some last year. I want the sizes in order to better my original (now apparently copied) design. I now have the sizes and will shortly be taking over the world.
  19. Who'll lend me an Ortovox transmitter so I can get the sizes again (lost them). Plan is to start making collars with attachment as in my other photos elsewhere that take the big dog transmitter. Collars will be 1" wide, 2 ply (probably) with a secure way to fasten the box to the collar. Prefer someone who's already had stuff off me, definitely UK only. Will be doing this once only so first come first served. Needs to be ASAP so I can get some done in time to sell at Weston Park, in the car park of course
  20. Sorry mate, jobs gone!!............ I don't think he meant he wanted to be one, I think he was after reserving one for his own personal use.
  21. Had a good day out in good company, despite the atrocious weather. Show was well set out, well run, very well attended given the rain, just one of those decent days out. Well done Rich and team, will deffo be there next year.
  22. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMm You though about working in the recruiting office??? Lovely.
  23. Glossiest coats FULL time barf diet Yes, chicken in fine when fed raw, mine have wings or carcases everyday, the bones are dangerous when cooked............... How many chicken wings would you give a dog a day mate? Sized about 40 lbs, active most of the day. Been giving him 2 or 3 with his complete but would rather go completely raw ............. Coat is looking good on it!
  24. Can you? how much would they be? I wouldn\'t want holes for cable ties though have you improved it at all since that design? and also I\'d need to have the buckle closer to the unit as my dogs have thin necks. Thanks Yes it uses the same frequency I can indeed make as many as anyone would want, I'd have to make another first to give a definite price, but they be no more than £15 inc post for sure, lifetime guarantee as with all my stuff. I've only made 2 so far, can understand people might not like the cable tie idea, it does however mean there is no way that can co
  25. I wasn't going to post on this thread, after all it's f**k all to me if someone wants to make a few collars. But, the attached photo (crap quality pic because I forgot to save the full size original) is of a collar I made for someone off here, last December (and I have all the supporting emails to prove this), you'll notice there's a slight resemblance to the ones I made ..... Whoever "Selwyn" is, I put holes in the ones I made in order to allow the use of cable ties to be extra secure, webbing can stretch when wet, which is also why I used heavy duty velcro on the collar and the botto
