i'm using a laptop with vista,2gb ram and 1.7 ghz dual core(with crap onboard graphics card) and videos(youtube etc ) play fine with no waiting to download or jerkiness on this so i wouldn't have thought your spec was at fault?maybe just busy net as someone suggested or pc could do with a good clean out of junk.(i have ocd when it comes to keeping my laptop junk free!!)

used to catch 2 and 3 lbers on a regular basis yrs ago on the ouse in yorkshire.never caught any that were bigger but i suppose we were never targeting them! its a fish that has always fascinated me so might have a go at them this yr...

Thanks Frank, i normaly use drontol on the dogs myself, but as these were given to me, who am i to look a gift horse in the mouth, { i wonder where that saying comes from} I`ll try and do a search to find if/why they were taken of the market before i give them to the dogs.. Mars.. they still sell panacur granules as i bought some a few wks ago.never used panacur tablets though.. but again,i mainly use drontal.(don't looka gift horse in the mouth to look at its teeth to determine its age as its free anyway! )

couple of carp caught from the local commercial yesterday. ended up with about 14 carp up to this 13lber.also a nice ghostie.
