Got the regular call of my uncle for are Friday night pest control but with a slight twist an old freind of his had contacted him asking him to thin out the bunnys at the lovely house near Pateley bridge so we went up for a few hours to have a look round with air rifles ready just incase we got the odd chance while checking out the problem. It became very clear that it's going to prove quite a busy little spot as after we got out the car took guns out closed the boot two rabbits sat in the apple garden 30yards from us . 2hours work

Was looking at getting a portable high seat but after looking at them on line not sure if I should just make a tree house / seat at fixed places and buy a telescopic ladder. Anybody used a portable high seat ?

Think again, what sort of stock/barrel do you have, weight is not just about weight, it is about barrel harmonics and barrel/stock interaction as well. Looks like I need to learn a bit more I was not aware of this at all will be busy on google reading up

Yes thinking weight not an issue as most of 22-250 will be from a high seat due to permission this is really helpful info thank you again good forum to ask on

Has anyone done an mod sound test on different brands I know it's near impossible to get one that is like a mouse fart but less sound is better if multiple targets in one area

Hi I have applied for my fac asked for .22 / .17hmr and .22-250 all with moderators. Which leads to the question is there a brand of mod that seems to be the best or are they all evenly matched ?
