  1. And hopefully this will happen soon... Watch from 7:55 to the end
  2. i only use an owl decoy, just sit it out 30yards or so with an opened up rabbit under it or apigeon with some feathers scattered about and they go mad for it!!
  3. If people say things like that its genarally a no, i got all my permission through ferreting, pigeon shooting etc, once they new i was doing a good job and i built up a relationship with them then i would ask about other things for example terrierwork etc, i only have a couple of farms atm but the farmers will ring me and say theres alot of pigeons there, or alot of rabbits about, or saying he found a new earth or a fox had been a problem, don't get me wrong this didn't come over night, alot of door knocking and being knocked back, dress smart be well presented polite and you never no, once you
  4. at 13 mnth i think ye doing the right thing saving her until next season
  5. Terrier work may well soon get banned but it will never stop, as long as their is foxes to ground i will dig them, and as long as there is game above ground i will hunt, i aren't been told by a load of pompous twats in suits what i can and can't do, i always feel i wish there was more i could do to educate people to the ways of the countryside and the needs for these ways, but most of the time your just wasting yoour breath, and most of the people that appose it have never spent a day in the countryside
  6. We should expect the boys in blue to turn up and a tell them under i think its a section 60 to vacate the land, they can give them 3 warnings, after the 3rd they can arrest, i personally believe that they should also give them an order to prevent them being able to access that land in the future, i have to be honest we get this sort of problem with the anti brigade every week at hunting and the police are very sympethetic towards the pro hunt community, and i've had situations while been out pigeon shooting etc and had to ring police and they have been very good.
  7. Law on privacy??????? do you mean in the context of tresspassing??
  8. I no i said i would'nt have been able to keep my cool and i would of found it hard but a deep breath does alot, we just don't need to give these people the ammunition they want, they no they can't get anything on us so its just push and push and push to try to make people snap and then they go to town on you and the rest of the hunting community
  9. Could'nt agree more, the comments on the youtube channel have been disabled now, but i decided to write to her explaining that they were working well within the law, that it wasn't a badger set and such pest control needs to be done on shooting estates especially around the time that the birds start mating/ nesting as pheasants are ground nesting birds, she replied by saying that pheasants werent ground nesting birds and it could of been a badger sett, and this is the problem that the people/saboutours that do this sort of thing actually don't no the laws but try to police them!!!!! Boils my b
  10. I for one applaud them for keeping cool as i don'tthink i could of!!!!!
  11. As was mentioned in a recent topic, do we really need to constantly look over our shoulders on permission or not, as you can see, even if working within the law. http://youtu.be/2JAmtETfzcE
  12. of course you do, permission or not theres always something, http://youtu.be/2JAmtETfzcE
  13. Because i do not want respect off people like foxdropper and i am interested in how people have done it and how much success have they had? Foxdropper did not come with anything constructive just insults which is a shame there are loads of people on this site i would imagine have far more knowledge on breeding than me (Queue a sarcastic remark) but foxdropper is not unless he discusses it now and explains what experiences he has had? hopefully this can be a good thread still and we can get back on too discussion Its not about respect mate, i thought this thread was about peoples views and

  18. well as been said, only way to do it really, as long as you do it properly you can produce generation after generation of good workers, hope you talk to somepeople with the knowledge i for one am not one of those!!
  19. Their are plenty of lads on here that no what there talking about when it comes to this, whether they choose to post is up to them as most will keep the lines close to their chest so to speak.
  20. rabies? Rabies???? when i got taught i watched and learned, all the terriermen i have had the pleasure of watching have always used their hands which if done properly is as safe as anything, i haven't been bitten yet, you may disagree but i got taught many years ago that if ye not willing to get ye hands dirty then you shouldn't be in the game, and as for the rabies surely the dogs would be the first sufferers of that???
