To timelord, well your a lucky devil look at that beauty you got now oh i would love one so when im earning money first thing im going to do is start saving for one of them all the gadgets im in college doing A levels for a minute see in engineering graphics and computing well as far as engineering comes into m life is a big way because i have just developed a target, it is remote control and you put it at an distance and knock them all down and by a press of a button they all rise again to be shot down again, really want to make something to do with my hobbies and interest, well i need to im

Grim i got to give it to you man thats amazing i think i will try that if i can get the butt off my gun i got the new style S200 see, but soon as i get a job may get a Theoben not to sure yet mate. but i am def going to try and get that if i can get the butt plate up and i agree with McSparkie and if you thought of that yourself thats a good ideo to get pettented if thats possible, i think this idea would be really good idea for young shooters and if they become good a standing shots they may really want to continue with the sport and really influence with them.

think these dogs are amazing although some of you think they are usless i agree with the ones with both parents having the gene useless way to bulky but the ones with just one parent having the gene the dog would be excelent in the field i think, looks a very fast and agile dog, Well i find this a very interstin subject and would like to know more so if anyone has any information let me know please and if ayone has ever whitnessed one work would you mind letting me know about them thanks Adam

Well up ealry this morning my father went to work on his motorbike and woke me up and couldnt go back to sleep so i thought i would have fun eith the gun. so i tryed a penatraction test with a argos calologue from 24 inches i thought it was a reasonable distance to try. i been comparing these pellets over the past 2 days. Well yester day i had a grouping test from 3 yards put 5 pellets all touchin each other within a 5p piece with the fields and then i tried the with the hunter same place everything but the grouping was more in a 50p piece sized groupinh with 2 not touching yet again still

thanks for replying mate, i supose everyone has thier own opinion good hunting in the furture mate

Any body actually used prometheus pellets and if so how they find them, Are they heavy, what are they like at grouping and what do they find the penatration like, i was talking to my father about it and he said he used to swear by the old ones his mate was using his old HW80 tuned to 21ft/lb and he shot a hare at around 60 yards he recons on a train track which he had permission on we are saying a goot 20 years ago and it kept running for about 30 yards and droped tone cold dead he shot it throught the chest. so would be interesting how nowa days prometheus pellets are doing and what you thin

Adam-RunningDog replied to reynardhunter's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
my lurcher had an incident with a cat even worse it was my best mates cat. well it all started after a t of lamping on my local farm. it was about 8 oclock pitch black on my way back walking i stopped at a mates. i knew my lurcher loves cats so i said come outside for a chat. so there we were outside having a chat there for about half an hour and his mother come out asking whats going on the car ran out and you can only guess what happened next. the cat ran about 40 yards infront of me and my mate by now the lurcher was on her back legs raring to go all i could hear was crack he bloody fancy -

Thanks guys but 40 to 50 yards is the closest i get without spoking them very shy round here and there isnt lots of them either there is most probely more charlies than rabbit so i get alot of action on them . think i may start getting clse as i can now some aint really that spooked but most are because alot of people use this land.

cracking hunting lads fair play, i never get bags like that unless i go rat shooting, or maybe squirrel shooting the bigest bag of squireels n a day is 6 for me and 2 crows and a rat i want a nice big bag with bunnies crows and pigeons next though but i just find this pigeon shooting malarky abselutly impossible thier vission is so sharp they spot me too soon. Good hunting lads keep it up and keep em coming

Best salmon worming tip you will ever get well i think, when the river is rediculasly high find the slower past of a pool get the biggest juciest lob worm you can find with 2 or 3 SSGs and sling it in the slow slack water and wait for the fight of you life, the salmon can be fairly lazy in the really heavy water when it is too havy for them to go up stream but if the water isnt too fast i think that if you still put a big juicy lob worm on and 1 SSG and cast into the fastish water and keep a tight line and let it go into slower water your usually garanteed to have a bumb 3 in every 10 cast and

Adam-RunningDog replied to Tyla's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Nice one mate ide rather give th lurcher a chance than the air rifle so i let the lurcher take more of them out these days rather than the air rifle i got carried away when i first had it its alot more exciting with the lurcher catching them, Best of luck in the future mate
