  9. Some beddy pups... Milly Quite the opposite, everyone is entitled to their opinions be it good or bad. I just wanted some information on 'todays' dogs, what's out there and what's working, as Hybred said 'going over what's already been said, here and on other forums gets a lil bit boring'.
  10. You've obviously got some bee in your bonnet about Bedlingtons and when they should be called Bedlingtons. I've clearly stated in all my posts on this thread what they are be it 1/2 cross or 3/4 cross. Forgive me if I'm wrong wasn't it George who brought in the outcross in the first place and still called them Bedlingtons, or is it that we have to listen to you and call them something else? I'll ask the same question again, seeing as you choose to ignore the other thread which is directed at you, What's your involvement with Bedlingtons?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I haven't
  11. Guessed it might, I had a look at the posting on bedlington.co.uk seems to be some animosity in the bedlington world going back some years. I've met a lot of the bedlington scene and get on with all, keep my opinions to myself. I'm no history expert and don't even try to be there is or has been plenty of self representing 'experts' that can yarn of tales of Bedlingtons, some good some bad. Not a breeding expert either, breed from workers get workers (if your lucky) outcross when you want, try and keep to a 'type' call them what you like but the essence of 'Working Bedlington' is still the

  13. 3/4 Rillington Bedlington 1/4 Lakeland. Worked and worked hard.
  14. I hope owners of these answer your query as there are quite a few of them that do 'work'. I have no experience of working Granitor bred dogs though have heard that they will and do work. C'mon lads show us some pics and give us some honest opinions. Here's another pic of Yogi, bedlington with lakeland outcross.
  15. Nice Pics Reynard, keep em at it. Here are some pics I've recently had sent to me. Granitor Dog Sam Rillington bred bitch. Rillington bred dog Rillington bred bitch
  16. There's just no hope for you LOL... try this image resizing site http://www.hardcorehunting.co.uk/resizer/ if you still can't do it... take up fishing or go read a book. Haven't got a clue to your other question, only ever had one...
  17. You asked the question, mine aren't classed as KC registered they are Working Bedlingtons or working Bedlington TYPE.... To quote you "If they are not considered pure, then any posts about working Bedlingtons cannot include these crosses?" WHY NOT ????? take a vote on it, any readers agree or disagree What you are actually saying is that I shouldn't have started the thread about working Bedlingtons because they are outcrossed and have no place anywhere ?? To quote you again "The only one recognised as an official Breed is the Lakeland. The rest are types of working terrier."
  18. Found a pic of Cochyn bred by JW. This is the sire of the first two litters from Bron. This is a pic of a dog called Jack went to a chap (AF) in Stoke. Was a very hard dog, I lost contact wih AF but know he bred this dog to the Pat bitch on the right, anyone know how these turned out? Rusty, Midge and Tango.
  19. QUOTE(Fell & Moorland WTC SW area @ Aug 15 2005, 11:39 AM) Can a Bedlington Fan explain to me, when is a Bedlington not a Bedlington? I know from many previous discussions over the Years that all Dogs have different Breeds in them in Days gone by, during their foundation Years. When is a Bedlington a pure one 'so to speak', with Bedlington from the great, great grand Parents or further back? Lakeland, Border and Bedlington crosses of various percentages seem to be the norm. Are these considered to be pure Bedlingtons? If they are not considered pure, then any posts about working Bedlingto
