Airborne I go with Villaman on that. It doesn't matter how many filters you have on a pump you will still get moisture and small bits of debris picked up by the pump from the floor. I had a rifle tube full of crap when it was serviced hence the pump being floated to the bin. Hope this helps and welcome. Good people on here with good advice Cheers Mike -

Nice gun Mac -
Hairy Sounds like you got a problem brother. Sorry to hear that. Mine is a cracking gun. Hope you get it sorted Cheers Mike

Go for it biker. I agree with Rez on the magazines and bolt but it's a cracking rifle out of the box

Well done a very good use of your time

Well done and long may it continue

I would rather not have live ammo around the house with kids about. My rifles are always secure, but all it needs is a dropped round and one of the kids pick it up. I would rather not have the responsibility. I work away from home for long periods of time also. People who have firearms are very lucky but it's not for me I'm afraid. I shoot clays but hire the shotgun it's just my choice. Good luck to you, I wish I had a job where I could be home every night and own those type of rifles but alas no. Cheers Mike

Hi Charlie You are right but I think the most I would ever apply for is FAC air as I wouldn't want the extra hassle of having to account for ammo as well as a rifle. I think Mitch has a couple of pals with open tickets which he is going to take down there and sort out a few of those foxes. It was mobbed down there. I think we saw about six that night. It was still a good night if a little eventful Cheers Mike

I concur it was one of the best I have ever seen in Dorset. You don't get that sat in front of the TV.

Brilliant. Is that a Ultra SE your daughter was shooting? My 12 yo son shoots one and they are cracking rifles. Well done to her Cheers Mike

The Mike & Mitch Dating continued last night on another cracking permission of Mitch's. Things did not go to plan from the start really. We arrived at the said permission and Mitch realised he had left his hunting jacket behind, so back in the van phone Mrs M to meet us half way. Mitch and I are busy chatting when the phone rings and his Mrs says "did you not see me waving?". We had been too busy gassing to notice and driven straight past her. Once jacket in hand we arrive back at the permission and after a short walk with a crack at a pesky woody we arrive at the area we are goi

Hi Smoothfinish Sounds like your rings have dried out and that is what's causing the leak send it to THE RAT WORKS for a service and tune you won't be sorry. I hope this helps ATB Mike DOESN'T MISS A BEAT!!!!!!!!!! -
Hi Before I sent my BSA R10 to THE RAT WORKS for tuning I used a HW suppressor (it now has a carbon fibre shroud) and it was the best one I had ever had on the gun at the time.

Hi guys Saddo here washes, rinses through a colander, dries the pellets on kitchen towel then puts them in the oven for 30 minutes on a very low heat. I then weigh them, rub the back of the pellet across a A4 sheet of paper and quality control each pellet before they go into individually marked tins starting from 14gr up to 14.8gr, anything outside these parameters gets ditched in the led bin. I have so much time on my hands it hurts hehehehe!!!!! AND YES IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Cheers Mike

Yes The One It was a great offer to take me along and shoot with him on his permissions. I work with people that live by me that shoot alone and have plenty of permissions but hey ho that's human nature I suppose. I'm off out again with Mitch tonight after he has taught me how to set up my chrono and use the chair gun app to enable me to shoot better. Can't thank the guy enough. ATB Mike
