  1. ok so i think im going to give the led lamp a try and if its no good ill send it back and get a striker. only thing i cant decide on now after having a chat with my mate id wether to get the one that comes with a 4ah lithium battery that will apprently last 4 hours and is £110 or the one i have posted the link to above with the internal battery in the handle that lasts 2.5 hours but is only £70
  2. Looks like I'll be saving for a while haha Any idea how long the lithium batteries last? Thinking either 14 or 22 amp
  3. That's fair enough I'm just lazy and have a problem with the cartilage in my chest. I think the next best thing is a striker and lithium battery
  4. Think I'm going to have to find one local and have a look at it. My mates got a striker and that's pretty good. Was just hoping to get away with not carrying a battery around haha
  5. I have looked at different torches but they seem.more suited to someone who is using it for shooting rather than running a dog I think I will just buy it and have a look if it's no good then I'll send it back and get a striker Does anyone know what battery's fit in the handle?
  6. hi, ive been looking around for a new lamp and at first was going to jump straight in and buy a 170 striker but then i came across the led lamps first one i looked at was the buffalo river rechargeable which looks ok but cant find much about them other than one thread on here. then i come across the tracer led 150 rechargeable lamps £70 claim to have a 500m beam and last 2.5 hours, only thing is i cant find any reviews on them. so before i buy one was wondering if anyone used them and are they decent enough to run a dog with http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111488785514?_trksid=p2060

  8. Hi I was given a nightsearcher 750 lamp off my mate and have been using it for a few weeks Was wondering what people thought of them I find it gives a wide beam but is bright as fcuk I was thinking of painting a filter black and cutting a hole in it to tighten the beam a bit but no sure yet I might just upgrade for a striker 170 Any way anyone use one of these and what are your thoughts

  15. hi, looking for some advice, my bamp has a small field at the side of his house that is becoming over grown at the minute as there is nothing on there. i was just wondernig if the best thing for him to do would be to get a couple of goats on there as hes already got the materials to make a shelter for them. he planned on cutting a hole in the fence so that the sheep could come in from the next field but since hes done that the farmer has taken all the sheep up to the next field. i spoke to him the other day about a goat and he said something about needing to get some sort of n
