    Cheers everyone and yea I'm pretty sure there wool but they may be spun poly does any one now how to tell weather they are poly?

    Just a couple questions regarding some nets a mate made and had spare. He gave me some hemp nets that look fine and I'm happy with but he also gave me some other nets that are made out of what I think is knitting wool. Just wondering would these be ok for ferreting? I don't want to set them and a rabbit bolts, breaks it and I loose a rabbit. Just wondering what people who have much more of an idea than me think. Oh and on a couple nets instead of welded rings he has used key rings, what do think? Cheers in advance

    Hi mate well done, have got loads of rabbits near you then? because by me there's hardly any.

    Hi I've only just started (past couple of weeks). It's a bit confusing to start of with, youtube videos helped me the most. With equipment it is fairly cheep agouti nets and bridport nets are where I get mine from. If I were you I would learn how to make them using old string from somewhere like a poundshop because when I first started I messed up quite a bit and wasted materials I could have used to make good nets. If you practice you'll soon get the hang of it. All the best

    Hi I have just started making my own nets and I was just wondering what are peoples favorite materials to use and where you buy them from for the best value for money.

    Hi everyone! I just thought I would introduce my self. My names Dan and I've had ferrets for a little while now and have been ferreting a couple of times, so I'm still quite new to it all. If anyone has any tips to be successful when ferreting I would be very grateful.
