  1. If your shooting at quarry thats down a hedge line. Estimate the distance between fence posts and see how many posts are between you at what ever you may be shooting at and work out how much it would be. Also if it's out in the open field, break down the distance into say 5 or 10 yards, it makes it easier. Dan

  8. Hi all, just wondering if i want to get permission on a tenant farmers land do I need their permission or the actual owners permission? I live in the middle of a driven pheasant and partridge shoot that's a keepered estate made up of about 5 farms. Who do I ask? I know of people who have asked the land owner about shooting but with no luck which is understandable as they could easily bag a couple of pheasants which he could be getting payed for. Does any one reckon I've got a chance with ferreting permission?
  9. Cheers never thought of them, with cemeteries i heard you can't dig so do you hope your ferret doesn't lie up?
  10. Is the best way to gain ferreting permission just to get out and about chatting to farmers? Are there any other ways people have been more successful at gaining permission?
  11. I've got a gun mounted one, they are quite good, mine has a good beam and I don't have to charge it that often. To me they are a good idea with not having wires and not having to carry a battery. Also there cheap.

  13. Go onto your profile. Hover over where the picture should be and in the top left of the picture there will be a black box with change written in it. Click change. Then if you have the picture on laptop/computer click choose file and find it. Or if it's on the internet put in the url. Remember if it's above 100kb you will need to resize it. Hope it's helped
