    Spoke to Bob a number of times, and what a sound bloke he is! and what an idiot is that bloke to word his allegations like that... personally like big mac has said if that were my child (not that i have one) he would of cleaned it up himself! Anyway SFS is a brilliant shop run by genuine people, anyone who has dealt with them will know this. Mike

    Personally i would much rather buy a standard HW77 and send it to SFS for a tune and then buy a quality scope if i had that much to spend!!

    I read what i think was one of your posts where you mention Hawke might not be up to the job? kinda made me think twice about another hawke but i have been looking and thinking of getting a Hawke Panorama EV 4-12x40 AO do you have any idea on the ability of these to stand up to the job for a springer?     So i popped in Sandwell Field Sports Monday to pick up a couple tins of pellets, and spotted a HW97KT, so i kept on thinking about it on the night thinking 'should i, shouldn't i' knowing that i could afford it i would struggle till the end of the month! I popped up yesterday to ask to try it and when i fired it i thought ive got to get this!! So they told me that the factory in Germany are off this month and they said they wont have any in for quite a while one this batch has gone so i asked if i could put a deposit down for one and they told me that thats fine so i pick my new HW97KT up

    So i picked up my Scorpion SE from John Bowkett yesterday after sending it in for a blueprint and a JB bolt handle Ball! Although accuracy was never a problem, compared to an R10 (Standard with no tuning) that i had tried the r10 seemed a lot smoother in the action. Today i have done a little messing around with it at 25 & 30 yards and it feels amazing! the cocking action before was a bit rough and felt like it was grinding just a little bit, but now it is smooth, and feels a lot better quality! And i think the JB Bolt handle ball does just ease the cocking a little! Also when fi
