  1. i used the plastic tube from hard as nails(the stuff that goes in a silicone gun) it went straight onto a flip up scope cover then glued it on,it was very easy to do.just make sure you get the camera in the centre
  2. yes it was a really good night, even if id came away with no rabbits id of been happy.its nice to see the wildlife i just cant wait to get my night vision sorted now. the lamp i use is a clulite mg 125 with a red quality street wrapper on it which works well. the light will pick up eye shine across pretty much all of the 10 acres but with the filter its cut the beam down to about half, its rechargeable and comes with a really good mount. for £50 it was well worth the money atb jason
  3. thanks, my dogs are looking good on the rabbits too. springs on its way now gafer so time for some rabbits
  4. thanks, thats what i thought but it was nice to see a few rabbits still about.
  5. thanks,my rabbits have just gone in the pot and the dogs are on my case already.it makes me laugh as it takes hours to shoot the rabbits then more time skinning and cleaning then cooking. but the dogs munch them down in seconds.
  6. my boys one likes accupels best it shoots pellet on pellet with em
  7. i turned up on my 10 acre perm last night to find a fox in the middle of the field,so after chasing him off i sat up and waited.about 20 mins went past when i bagged my first rabbit of the night.over the next hour i had one more rabbit at about 35yds,then i sat back and was waiting for another to make up a good meal for my dogs when i spotted 3 rabbits,so over i crept to try to get within range i popped my light on to see 1 to my right 1 to my left and one about 50yds ahead,as the 1 one on my right seemed about 30yds i layed down ready with the light on when he hopped over right beside the 2
  8. if it where me i would go for the air arms, but it really does come down to what fits you best.
  9. i use a clulite mg125 and i find its all i need,i stick a red quality street wrapper on it for a filter and its bagged me a good few bunnys.
  10. glad its sorted,my s400 shoots well with aa diablos but even better with jsb exacts
  11. i do get moaned at but i just ignore it,i usually just buy it then its tuff luck.one of my best ones was i tidied up the back garden (that never happens) and fixed the back gate(that wasnt broken) then the next day i came home with a quad that wouldnt of fit if i didnt fix the gate ha
  12. i would say they are both more accurate than im ever going to be,but the bsa is very light and handleable(i think thats a word) where as the s400 is a lot heavier and longer.from what ive been told by my rfd the new magazines are bang on. so if its the scorpion that feels good to you im sure thatll do you very well indeed, cheers jason
  13. ive got the scorpion t10 and its a really good rifle,me and my boy managed to double load it but that was our fault.i told him to be gentle with it and i think he didnt quite pull the bolt back far enough.other than that i cant really fault it.ive got an s400 which i rate very very highly esp for accuracy and ive got to say the scorpion is up there with it.let us know how you get on with it atb
  14. i have an s400 with a rowan mag conversion and its absolutley spot on, i wouldnt part with it,i also have a bsa scorpion (both in 177) the scorpion is very very accurate but for me theres no comparison the aa s400 wins hands down, shoots pellet on pellet every time,is as smooth as i could ask for,but as said its down to what fits you better, my bsa is for my son to use but i can use it quite comfortabley but again the aa fits me even better cheers
  15. i have 2 a 4-16x44 and 6-24x44 and they are spot on, i will be ordering another for my boys rifle soon, brilliant optics and hold zero,i use mine for targets and hunting cheers
