i did mine with the t+g stuff, stuck some more insulation under it first and marked on the boards where any wires went. only f**k up was getting down to answer the door to the god botherers.

looks like a nice swim that. i dont think its just down to the commercial side of things theres allsorts of regulations regarding dam walls, water levels insurance etc. your best bet is to speak to someone whos had a lake in france for a while.

make sure you get all the paper work checked over properly, a few places have been scuppered by french legal issues. good luck and let us know when your up and running.

lol, some funny folk down the cut. most people i see down the canal say stuff like "i didnt think there was any fish in here" get funny looks when i tell them there isnt im just practicing. had it a few times while wobbling a dead and i reel in they say "look hes caught one" and then i throw it out again. if they say out i tell them hes my pet he had an accident so im teaching him how to swim again. the look on their faces is quality.

think youll find they could, a boat licence covers your boat not the fishing rights. its not very likely though iv fished the canal for over 20 years and never been asked to pay once. if there is no signage then hows anyone supposed to know anyway.

thanks, i have the 50mm ao ir on my 97k but the ret on the 40mm is finer. i just wondered if it made much difference to accuracy.

iv got one its decent for the money, i havnt had a look through a pro staff so cant compare

you can get your tv detuned so you dont have to pay it. you can still connect it to a pc, playstaion etc.

you cant blame them for wanting a better life, its the muppets that let them in. other places dont stand for it and were more cramped in comparison. even the french had the bollocks to ban the burkha. think theres a typo on the booklet, theres a y on there that shouldnt be.
