Just a quick update , got home tonight and the others are not showing any symtoms as of yet ,thanks for the info people sent as its says not all can catch it......so there is hope......, one I took in lastnight is still being pumped with fluids and antibiotics. The problem we have now after speaking to the vet is find a laboritry that can test for ADV on post mortem or through a blood test. Regards Smokey

I am sad to say , after building up my own line on six little workers...I am now down to 3 in a matter of a week....I have just returned from taking another to the vet and waiting for an autopsy result.It does not look good , the vet is 99% sure that it is ADV?.I have never come across this before and I hope none of you will. All the time and effort and fun had with the little buggers ..gone in one week........ There is no cure and as soon as the symptons shore they died withing 48 hrs......... Well dont know what else to say...... will miss them loads... Regards Smokey

This is what I have just started using, recommended by a friend , dogs love it .......but can't seem to score it....I am using the "High oats" at the moment to get the dogs weight down then will move to "active " http://www.burns-pet-nutrition.co.uk/dog_food.htm At first thought it was pricey ,but once you see how much they need it is more economical than cheaper foods and alledgedly better for them, if somebody could do the scoring and let me know the results...would appriecate it . Joe is a good boxer.....but he is chasing a has been.........and if you look at the defenses he has had some that have not been worthy contenders, unfortunatly for him the weight division has not been as strong as it use to be. Its similair to the heavy weight a few names but nobody out there who is class e.g. Skeleton gets a chance for a title ...............if there any quality he would not be fighting Hopkins Regards Smokey p.s......... chill out ,its only my opinion..

I have just applied a poltice to my dogs foot using magnesium paste ( this is what I was told to use ) how long do I leave it on for , by the way the dog had cut her pad and it nearly healed and then it had some small amount of puss come out hence why it is polticed. Regards Smokey.

I normaly buy Winchester, but round our way there is a shortage of them, so I bought some Magtec ,just as good as Winchester and cost £20 for 500 regards Smokey.

well lets face it I am being a thick , I am trying to connect a KP net with leaded line to Magnum fibre glass poles with gromets ,and getting in a right mess......I do the clove hitch like he recommends ,but the line being leaded is to thick to go in the grommets....is there an easier way of connecting these nets????....... regards Dumb F*ck............. p.s anyone near Northamptonshire who could help

Right.....I will try and describe whats wrong.......took dog ferreting today and she seemed ok,when got home she could only stand on 3 legs ...had a look no thorns etc...but I have noticted a swelling (feels like a water) just above the hock and between the tendon and the bone..its close to the joint..................first injury my dog has really picked up and would like some advice....e.g. rest it or vets..

My beddy x whippet would not pick rabbit up at all let alone retrieve, so I got a large gundog dummy and covered in a couple of skins , I then made it a game chucking it and hiding it and she started to retrieve it. After a couple of weeks took her out shooting and she bought dead ones back....] and now she will retrieve all the time............thats when she can catch the bloody things
