think i am but im not shooting there. i hate the clay setups, the refs dont know what they are doing and half the traps brake down. if i were you i would stick to the local clay club, as long as it is reliable. sounder, why use 3/4 and full for DTL? i can shoot it with my skeet chokes and i dont know any one who uses more than 3/4 and that is for their second barrel. i also know a lot of people who shoot the other trap diciplines; OT, UT, DT, DR and so on, but i dont know anyone who uses more than 3/4 in their seoncd barrle there and most of those targets and faster and further away than

right lads sounder jnr was out playing today and came home with a pigeon when i looked at it , it has the rings with numbers, is there a data base when these numbers are kept so i know where it came from or who owns it, and what do you feed one of these bird's i think it wing is out of place , but not sure!! when your shooting by some of the other guns with all the fancy bollocks they walk around with it makes no difference to shooting its just bling,............... you may want to change your cartriges though to 7s or 7 and 1/2 they will just give you a bit more spread on some of the quicker clays. 7/1/2 will not give you more spread , if you have 1/2 and full in a fixed gun it the same as having 1/2 and full in a choked gun, the drifference in shell sizes is the sizes of the lead pellets and pellets count !!!!! so more pellets not spread, to make the lead spread you need to open up to 1/4 or

hi ben i try and get a clay shooting section added in here, but for now i see can i answer your question i shoot both and there is a big drifference from game to clay, mainly speed more lead maybe needed !!!!now i say maybe, as it up to you to judge the speed, as for choke this is where a lot of shooter differ,some just stay with 1/4 and 1/2 for sporting , for dtl [down the line] it's 3/4 and full,1/4 and half should be ok for most if not all sporting clays, the best thing is to give it ago and see how you get on mate best of luck atb sounder
