17, terriers are my main interest, have a couple of ferrets, enjoy beating, and do a lot of clayshooting i also have a few days on beaters shoots... I want to get out and about more, i would like to do abit more shooting and ferreting, and see some terriers at there work...!

I'm after a little advice, as some of you may have read i've got a pretty deep cut on my thumb, from a stanley knife. I went to A&E after i did it to have it cleaned and have some steristrips applied, the problem is its on my left thumb and i'm left handed, so i need it to heal up quickish... its giving me hell at the moment... does anyone know of anything i can use to help proctect and heal it...? Thanks Charlie

Are you glad its friday? I sure as hell am... I've had pretty pants week this week... it started going wrong monday evening, left work early and spent 3 hours stuck in a traffic jam within spitting distance of home, tuesday i spent all morning fitting a mortice lock in college and f****d up putting the keep on the frame, wednesday slept in for work and got left behind, so pissed the boss off and had to spend all day stripping a burnt out roof ready for the new trusses, thursday I nearly sliced the side off my left thumb off with a stanley knife and spent the evening in A&E to get it ch

I would like to go to america to see the many hound breeds they use... looks like I've put a few ideas into my own head now... lol ... That is a good article... Pig Hunting NZ - Snatch FLC ... I have read a few books which were loaned to me by a friend who has done abit of pig hunting, and the way the lads work the dogs and hunt them sounds brilliant to me... I think i can feel my first holiday coming on... LOL YIS Charlie

I would love to hunt pigs in new zealand or australia, I think it wraps everything i love about hunting into one package, a bit of scent work, some hard chasing when the pigs are in the open, and a propper challenge once the dogs manage to get them at bay... I like so many others think i was born 50 or 60 years too late to experience hunting in its prime in this country, all of the elements of dog work i think i would have loved are sadly outlawed, or too heavily restricted to be enjoyable... I am going to try and travel as much as i possibly can to try and enjoy as much variety of hunting bo

I uses one, its not bad, but not brilliant... I find that it does'nt reheat quickly enough once i've warmed my hands on it... but its nice to have...
