    Just wondering my jill had kits in a 4x2x2 hutch and over the past two days I have build a 6 foot hutch the kits are one week old tomorrow. How long should I leave it before moving the lot into the bigger cage?

    Thanks mate I can build hutches but never made a ferret box im just making a new hutch its nearly finished so after I will make a ferret box atb

    If you were to keep one or two ferrets what would it be, both can be good workers Hobs like being alone most of the time. Jills need to be breed ect. Wondering what to keep this year I normally have a jill but they need to be breed spade ect. so maybe a good working hob.

    Left mine one day mate looked today while she was eating and she had 10 so that's good.

    Thanks mate an honest post I know people have 4x2x2 hutches and the ferrets look and do quite well in them. Don't know why people say sheds and stuff what happens when they have kits start getting lockups and industrial buildings lol

    yes was thinking 4x2x2 double or even 6x2x2 double would be good.

    its fine saying build courts and stuff. but what happens when they need splitting up or you get a fighter you cant keep them running together then. does anybody have multi levels to keep some separate if so how big and do you have any pics? just wondering if to make a big cage or have separate hutches just in case.

    How many Jills would be able to live in a 6x2 x 30 inch high hutch? Maybe 2 or 3?

    Look on gumtree and preloved. Their getting more and more ferrets workers and so on everyday. Good chance you might get something good off there. atb

    ok lol I get it now. like angora costing a fortune even though its not a breed just a ferret with more fur on the legs. says online one went genetically wrong in Sweden and got extra fur

    I have breed working poley to good working hob polecat which is only a little bigger than Jill The Jill is due this weekend so hopefully some good ones there
