  2. I have plenty food down for my ferrets but they seem to poo too much loads so I guess that im feeding to much. Also how long to leave a rabbit in this heat a day or 2? Thanks.
  3. 6 dark Jills left or would swap for a young white or silver Jill from different stock. ready in a few weeks. Thanks.

  9. Yes cant see them making good workers like. what you need is a nice confident and tame ferret Polecats will tend to shy away spending more time in the nest box and stuff because of the wild instinct.
  10. Will do mate I think one will be polecat colour and one white ready in 4 weeks
  11. Yes I will have a couple of hobs left mate.
  12. Yes mate just take the Jill out put her in a different cage or a ferret box for 5-10 minutes while the kits eat
  13. Thanks for the comments guys they will be 4 weeks old this Saturday so I will put another picture on. Hopefully they will be eating meat and moving round more by then
  14. So you are saying ferrets are ok and you don't need to breed them they will go in and out of season. I will try this next year and I hopefully my Jills will be fine
  15. Did you get the Jill jab like or get them taken out of season?
  16. My Jill (worker) ( Kits bred worker to worker 7 Polecat colours and 2 white )
  17. Not talking about heavyweight hobs more small to medium hobs.
  18. I meant a full Hob in breeding season is best alone or they fight or drag the Jills round all the time
  19. 1 Jill 1 hob left Great kits got 1 hob and will be getting another when they're ready.
  20. Ive always used hay and shavings but young ferrets plough through it and start sneezing was thinking of using shredded paper for bedding and a litter tray. what do you use in the hutches or courts and why?
  21. The Jill should be in heat 2 weeks after the first sign of swelling and then she would be ready with out any fighting or messing and only a few hours with a Hob will do.
