    Interesting stuff this cloak and dagger style. I've kinda been a bit fascinated by it myself for some time after seeing a fair bit over years on the History Channel and places like that. I've picked up a few books over the years...gonna have to dig em out for a read. If i could do it all again i would defo go into the army. A mate of my old mans is ex SAS though never talked about it and i've had 1 or 2 conversations with Eddie Stone...not that he gave much away but a geat wee guy

    If it's braided (hollow centred) you can pull it back through on itself and add a dab of superglue. It'll run straight through

    Bonnie lookin wee pups Vixen. My sis has a wee Border and he's a cracker. Wish i'd hunted him from young. If i was ever to get terriers again it would be Borders! You not temted?

    I bought the 175mm version and it's ok...nothing special. The beam goes out a long way and is very tight so if you like it like that then fine but which i don't particularly like it. I had to re-solder all the connections as they were crap. Mine is sitting there doing nothing after only a couple of times out. Get a lamp that's tried, tested and comes recommended as you'll end up selling it on for peanuts and buying something better. Have a look at the Cluson Lazerlite...excellent wee lamp and more than adequate

    I haven't fished any of the "true" highland rivers. The furthest north would be the Spey on the east coast and the Lochy on the West. Would love a cast on the Helmsdale in spring or Beauly for the grilse

Get over it..... I'd love to argue the case but i've no idea of the legalities and by the sounds of it neither have you. I'm sure in the coming weeks we will hear lots about it!!!...

    As above. It's all over the news that Rangers use of EBT schemes to the value of 49 million have been deemed legal and above board. An MP is reportedly calling for an investigation into HMRC for their handling of the issue. So Murray and Co have been vindicated. Put into administration! Fined for going into administration! Put out of the league! Banned from signing players! Banned from European competition! Loss of millions of pounds of revenue! So what now???
