Bad But Lucky Cut From Wire Fence
huntingladjohn replied to Greensmen's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
that looks crazy, hope it has a good recovery and as much barbed wire has its uses it doesnt need to be on every fence in the country i can see it can keep livestock in areas but the amount of damage it causes not just to the public but to the livestock its ment to protect whats the point, iv lost count the amount of times iv had my dogs tore up by the stuff.... i hate it with a vengeance -
been out this mornin and my lurcher has split his left front pad whats the best thing for him that i can put on him to help it heal? i know there are sprays you can buy iv seen them used on terriers and lurchers when they cut themselves but just want to know the names of them and where to buy them ??? thanks alot

like i said iv only done abit with mine just if had them under shed or if they have taken over a rabbit warren i dont go out looking for rats with my ferrets id much rather shot them or let the dogs have em,i love a days ratting me and my brothers always try to get as many days out with the dogs and smokers as we can, and i think a good days ratting can be better than a good days rabbiting,
-
i feed my ferrets rats from time to time have done some ratting with ferrets before but only if iv had rats under shed, if your dogs keen enough to do rats let it do em
-
