  1. Finally! Yes wheat is f****n horrible for you. I dont care if you are "allergic" to it or not nobody should be eating it. Do you know why we eat wheat and drink milk? Cuz its f****n cheap and the government can subsidise it, control it, and produce it in massive amounts and feed their huge ass population cuz they are too afraid to hurt people feelings by telling them. "Hey folks yall are makin too many damn babies. Stop gettin married cuz its retarded and stop f****n without birth control ya silly fuckers." That prolly would be political suicide if ya told the truth so they opt out.
  2. Hahahahahaha!!!! Yanks giving advice on diet and spelling!!! Whatever next? Somalians giving advice on yachting etiquette and gentlemanly seamanship? My dogs have always had brown bread. One of my greyhounds was in the semi-finals of the Springbok at Wimbledon. He ate brown bread (he also ate other dogs, that's why he was going over the hurdles). The bottom line is that brown bread DOES put weight on a dog. It works, so why change it? I wouldn't worry if any greyhound was struggling to hold weight, up until it was 18 months old. That's what they do, Dan don't know shit about gre
  3. Latex bands aren't usually as fast as Theraband but they shoot a lot smoother and are very accurate. Steel balls zip out of them and hex nuts work well too.
  4. There's been catties of that shape made for a number of years, long before you started making them. Maybe you copied someone else? LOL!! There's only so much variation that can be made with a catty frame, there'll always be similarities between makers. I only make naturals but I've made a couple of twisted Holly frames that look identical and they were made 2 years apart. There's lots of catties that look like Hunter frames out there.
  5. For me Dan, it's all about the run. Catching's nice but if your quarry does its best to get away and succeeds then it deserves to live and run another day.
  6. "superior to all other dogs" Good hunting kranky Lol!!
  7. I never said that, read back, my comments were made in response to other comments. You need to read the entire thread otherwise you'll take things out of context. The bull x's that I get out with are all quality animals and do their job well. But these are running dogs with some pace about them. My criticism of the blokes that chuck their dogs out of motors was aimed at those who's dogs haven't got the wind or those who prefer the big heavyset draw dogs. These dogs will only catch when the car has done the majority of the work for them. The fact that my dog is superior to all other
  8. I'd judge each slip on the particular situation. It's unusual for stuff to be up and running full throttle when I'm 200 yards away because I'm creeping about and not hanging out the window of my Scooby. My dog can get on to terms with stuff that are given more than fair law. He's quick. Any dog worth its salt should be able to make up ground regardless of it being let out of a vehicle or slipped on foot I just dont get your wisdom of a 200 yard slip and saying your not hanging out of a scooby or 4x4 What don't you get? Have you never had your quarry feeding out in the middle of the f

  10. I'm not for one minute suggesting that you don't know what you're talking about and you probably have a load more experience with bull x's than me.
  11. so numbers for a bull x is not a test?? an you dont have to run gear in the motor first, driving the land just lets you find more gear and have more runs, its upto you running the quarry with the motor why didnt you let dog out from a fair distance if thats why you wanted to do ? some lads think just because your in a suburu or 4x4 you have to chase your quarry, well you dont if your dogs fast and good enough That's not right. You're saying that a motor disturbs the game less than when you walk up on it. If you aint saying that then you're saying that you drive up on your quar
  12. and for all the lads saying they just get tossed out of motor onto there game, its not like that one bit... and obviously never done it or use were the ones tossing them right on there game... dogs that go out of the motor have still got to do a lot of running, when they leave the car there game is already in full flight, the dog is not, plus this is a way of getting them n alot of game in one night to test them... a motor dog, one you can walk with and lamp, road siding and out with terriers, a good dog will do them all This is what you said earlier. That's not what you're saying

  14. how many times have you herd or read on here of a heavily saturated bull x running into something verses how many collie crosses do you read or hear of doing the same thing you also need to add whippet to your mentioned crosses to make up for whats lacking in the mix What will the whippet add? Yapping or shortness of breath? Even thinner coat Most of the bull x's you get out with kranky have whippet in there breeding and baw I'd totally agree with you I'd prefer better jackets on them which is why I can see the benifit of using Wheaton over bull but I'm happy with mine. I kno
  15. A very silly statment Working whippets have or did have a lot to offer the lurcher, especially the whippets that were around 20 plus year ago I do apologise. Could you possibly get one of these 20 year old whippets round to line Westy76's bitch?

  17. You can't tell what a dog is like from a photo!! Even the heaviest set most muscular dog can lack courage. A heavy built dog will not be as fast as a lighter built one of the same height. Too much muscle on a dog does it no favours for running. If you drop your dogs on top of stuff out of the motor then you can have as heavy dog as you like. Do you really believe that the nutcase, Lord Orford bred a bulldog x greyhound and it's offspring went on to beat all the very best dogs of the day? Think about it! You can't say that people mistakenly think that dogs need to be lightly built and then
  18. That lanky wretch has trouble reading! He thought his name was Primark for years because it was written in his coat!!
  19. As much as it pains me to say it, I agree. I prefer a big dog. They can cover ground a lot quicker, have more power when they connect and can jump obstacles in full flight to match most deer. Think the bigger dog would be better not hard to work that one out but some we dogs can handle then as well maybe not as good or fast but can still do it I've seen plenty of small dogs over the years that've made me realise that it's the heart inside them that counts.
  20. I'd agree with that as a general rule. There just seems to be some misconception that DH x's take a ridiculously long time to mature and can't be worked until they are 2 years plus.

  22. Hahahahaha!! Ok, when he's writing more than 3 words he makes sense. He does have a habit of slagging people off though.
  23. My first X was 32 TTS, lived until he was 13 and was killing foxes in big numbers by the time he was 15 months. My current dog, 3/8 x 5/8 has never really been overly puppyish, but hasn't say in a kennel until he was 7 or 8 months old, maybe getting the dog out from a young age is the secret.
  24. I thought Darcy would've popped back on with some answers. No one that's said they were easy has offered any explanation as to why.HAW HAW HAW oooooooohhhhhh FFs that's quality  cheered me up that did I reckon that he's currently writing another book where all will be revealed, I might offer him a couple of quid for him to explain why he thinks Sika are the easiest of all the deer. I'm curious, I never had a chance to run them but I did run other species, I find it a bit unusual that a deer of that size would be slower or have less fight in it than a CWD.Are you questioning the m
  25. So your saying that the more deerhound in the mix the quicker they mature? So maybe it's not deerhounds that are slow to mature it's the other breeds.
