was on the phone first thing this morning to my vet and told him what happend,, he has booked my bicth ( sky) in for thursday morning he will give her an injection and then have her back on saturday for another one, this will stop her becoming pregnant! i feel a bit bad for doing this and not letting nature take its course, but i know that i have not got the room for a litter of pups among other things so this is my only option, i can now look forward to a good seasons hunting with her.. thanks for your comments folks,, ( tommy.c )

just caught my 1year old collie grey locked to my redmerile x saluki bitch, they were only locked for about 2 minutes then they parted again, i know this is my own stupid fault for lettin him so close to her but anyway, is there a chance that he didnt do the damage or can a vet do something to stop the pregnancy as i did not want pups,, i was really looking forward to this season with her!! do i bring her staight to the vet or do i just not run her this season and let her have the pups? any advice please...

i was thinking the same thing lucky,, at the minute im taking my two lurchers for there normal walk round my local park then into the graveyard were they chase a couple of rabbits, witch i know im taking a big risk of them getting injured but when there running the rabbits threw the graves they are twisting and turning and i personaly think this is good exersise for them, and i can see my 1 year old colie x grey getting keaner, but i think im going to start to do a lot of road walking with them about a month before the season starts hopefully that will get them fit enough!! never mind the lur
