  1. Ok, after comparing my Viper and my Mamba, I came to the conclusion that the Mamba was much clearer and brighter to look through. So I sold the Viper, and purchased the Hawke Sidewinder 30mm 4-16x50 SR PRO IR and this too is better than the Viper.... http://www.uttings.co.uk/p112686-hawke-sidewinder-30mm-4-16x50-ir-sf-riflescope-sr-pro-ir/#.UlWvjlCsiqc The Hawke doesn't white out half as much as the Viper
  2. A review on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B007BY3HR6/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1 Better reviews on this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Air-Arms-Spinner-Target-Shooting/dp/B0024H6D58/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381319062&sr=8-1&keywords=air+arms+spinning+target
  3. Very poor indeed. Just sold my MTC Viper 4-16x50 and purchased an Hawke Sidewinder 30 4-16x50 (should be arriving today) - Hope that doesn't go down the same route
  4. Eminently sensible suggestion Reaper. However, it's not that old and I neither want nor can afford to take the hit on selling it second hand and then adding more money to the pot to buy another one. A couple of inches off the barrel would likely be the cheaper option. The cheapest option would be to get a hole saw, and cut a hole in the gun cabinet for your rifle to fit into...
  5. After seeing my Bobcat perform in .22, I'm thinking I should've gone .22 with the HW100, but I'm still happy
  6. Erm....It's not hard to stop at the exact point at all....It's really easy....You just open the valve slowly and keep it that way, slowly opening as you go....Its EASY!!!!

  8. Ok.... Day off today, so got my FX Bobcat .22 and my Weihrauch HW100KT .177 zeroed in.... Refilled both to 200 bar.... Out of the box, here are the groupings using a full mag at 25 yards.... First up the HW100 using AA Diablo Field 8.4gr - 14 shots.... Next the Bobcat using H&N Field Target Trophy 14.66gr - 12 shots.... Out of the box, I'm pleased with the results.... (Obviously they've not bedded in yet neither) The cocking mechanism of the Bobcat is really good. Very similar to the Weihrauch. The loading of the HW100 feels ever so slightly smoother
  9. Thanks. Are they worth getting do you think?
  10. I tried getting the day off work but failed, lol I don't want to shoot it at night because it's rather loud (sounds like a whip cracking), which is why I spent a little time shopping in order to keep my neighbours at bay... But, I'm gonna put a few through it on Sunday and will post my findings
  11. Lmao.... Sunday will be the day.... I start work early and don't finish until it's dark so not had chance.... I shall update you with a photo of the groups..... But only if you're a good lad
  12. Order placed for a custom silencer from a well known guy called Neil.... Should look a little like this....
  13. I've got the Mamba and the Viper. Lovely scopes IMO And they come with everything you need
  14. Hi folks, Anybody seen any of the above pellets for sale anywhere? I'm having trouble finding some Thanks
  15. Hi, I'm after an FX Verminator MK2 .22 Silencer if anyone has one, cash waiting.... MUST BE MINT Thanks
  16. Solware charge £1398 I believe and BAR charge £1198. When I contacted them both, they said they sold out straight away and it'd be about 10 weeks before the next lot arrive. However, I found Shooting Supplies Ltd were advertising them. Got it for £1210 and £16 postage. I think he said he had 3 in. I ordered mine on Tuesday morning and it was with my RFD on Wednesday. Great service
  17. Looking at the pics on here of the Indy:- http://tedsholdover.com/2013/08/08/fx_bobcat_indy_bullpups_arrive/ The Indy has a second screw through the Picatinny rail underneath at the front, and inside the stock of my Bobcat, you can see, there's a partial whole in exactly the same place, but it doesn't go through, so these both have identical stocks, but the Bobcat only has one screw, so I guess it's supposed to be like it is
  18. Just tightened it up as best as possible. It's not loose as such. It does need pulling away from the stock for you to see movement, and you can hold it by the stock, turn it upside down and shake it and can't feel no wobble. Think it you physically have to pull it up to notice it.... Thank God It's not a fraction as bad as a Daystate Air Ranger I used to have which was like it as new
  19. Just removed the single screw and the internals come out very easily.... But there is nothing but the individual screw to keep it attached....
  20. I have noticed there is slight movement of the barrel from the stock, but I reckon they all must be like that, as there's only 1 screw attaching it all together and that's situated behind the grip
