Stupid uneducated people are ruining the falconry name nowadays by using them as status pets. Yeh the guy was prob that dumb he thought raptors are like homing pigeons lol il just keep it in for a few weeks then let is out see if it cones back lol. Retards.. Anyhow back to the post, hass [NO TEXT TALK] got any ideas of how i could try capture this owl????

Yeah its all legel its got a ring on its been an escapee for about 2 n half yr now just stays in this area mostly been sighted in the nature reserve 5 min from my house but this is the forst time iv seen it since its bin here. Yeah its attacked lots of locals in the area. Mainly joggers at night. But keeps poppin up in gardens looking for cats. If you stand up to it it charges you lol mean fuka.

Got a phonecall from my friend an hour ago who told me to go straight to his house as the escaped eagle owl is in his back garden on the fence post preying on his cat. I drove along his house which is 5 minutes from me and it was still there just watching the cat through his conservatory window. I managed to get a little shot which il upload. As i walked into the garden i got a shot of it before it took off. What a huge bird.. Its been local to the area for around 2 and a half year as it eacaped captivity but no one has botherd trying to get her back. Apparently its a 7 yr old female.. She mad

And one more thing when im feeding her on the bow i have a certain place in my garden with shelter wher i put her to feed which is a seperate place to wher i usually bow her out for weathering as this then stops her thinking everytime i bow her out its feeding time..

I firstly train the bird to come to the glove once shes coming her distance pretty much instantly i then get her moving away from the glove for her food as charlie caller does i like my bird to see the glove as a good place to hunt from an not a direct food source. When weather is crap shes fed on lure ifits to bad i jus feed her on the bow under shelter. But i firstly place the food there and then take her to the food at the bow rather than her sein me putting down her rations for her.

Cheers for the info lads just to let yous no iv finally got her coming to the glove weighing 1.14.5 thats a half oz lighter than last yr so least we got ther eventually i was starting to thinkiin she took a dislike to me sumhow ha. Il stick a couple of pics to finish off the thread

Thanks for the replys lads. Iv tried givin her tht littl nibble of a chick to get her goin she bobs her head as if she wants to then changes her mind lol. Unless its under her nose ha.. Her keel feels fine mate so im definatly assuming or hoping its only the weight issue. Yeh she started a little under 2 last year and built upto 2 lb exactly for her best response. She was flyin at 2.1 on the lamp. Il trim her down a tid bit more see how she responds. Thanks for the advice lads.

Just had her back out the aviary shes weighing 2lb0.6 after only 1 chick yesterday. iv let her drop that extra couple of ounce to see how she reacts today. Took her out on creance and still no response i really dunno whats up with her tbh got me baffled.. She will eat straight away if i put her on my glove or put the food under her beak the lazy b*tch ha??? Any questions? Should i low her to 2lb and hold her or any other ideas?

My fhh has been taken out just over a week and been mnning her since. i had her out on creance on sunday and monday and it took her a good hour to get her to do a litl hop on the glove but thats as far as she will go any further away and she isnt interestted. She is now weighing 2lb 1 oz. she was flying at 2lb exactly last season but was definatly showing interest at this weight.. I had her back on the creance yesterday whilse weather was decent but same again no interest at all unless the glove was pretty much under her beak. Should i try shave that littl bit more from her does any 1 think

Took my fhh out on sunday to be kitted out in her new equip been manning her alleeek. Been slowly dropping her weight the past 2 weeks shes sitting at 2lb3.2 this morning.. Gonna get her hopping tonight then creance this weekend along with some lure work..

Nice 1 lads il look about see what i can see. I thought that gps system sounded too good to be true thats the reason i made this topic also to find out some proven named brands so i know what to look for this is only my second season as i didnt fly with telemetry last season. My mate uses marshall which seems decent enough. If anyone happens to hear of [BANNED TEXT] selling a decnt system it wid be much appreciated to post on hhear or inbox me let me know. Cheers.
