Rabbit population this yr seems right down round my way this yr which was heeving last yr dunno whats happend man. might work, carcases work better, but be careful craig you need a licence for gulls , atb mc Thanks mc il try a carcass as i dont really fancy messing about cutn wings off thm attaching to lures etc which will definatly work but id rather just buy a ready made gull lure ( which i cant find anywher ) or like you say just pull a carcass along for her to switch onto. Dont worry mate il be extra carefull thanks for the advice lads.

No mate i dont take myn out with his anymore as first time we flew them together his bird kept trying to foot mine and just basically doesnt like my bird been there. Myn flys good in a cast with my other 2 friends males but the 2 females just carnt seem to get along. Strange.. His female is a right fiesty fka goes for anything that moves which isnt my cup of tea really but i do love how it works the gulls and crows.

Nice 1 mate why didn i just think of that ha.

Just wondering if its a good idea getting my female harris trained to gull an crow as their is a huge number round my way that all just sit in the fields in huge flocks. Also wondering how you go abouut getting her to go for them carnt find gull lures or anything anywher. My mates female is amazing on them guranteed catch every time he flys her but he didnt need to train her she automatically got the taste for them and been smashing them ever since. Mine doesnt go for them but just wondering if thers a way to get her tuned to them?? Thanks.

Shes all done now it was a weight issue i had to drop her that littl bit lower than last years flying weight i took her down to 1lb15 before she start coming to me again but now shes flying everyday shes built up muscle and is now flying keen at 2lb exactly. Thanks.

Well done artic must be class working the bird with the dog iv only ever flew a bird over ferrets shes still abit funny with dogs its because i was training her last yr and this fking stupid bullmastif thing charged at her whilst she was on creance if she never kept in the air she would of been a gonna sehe kept flying and getting caught back up in full length line which was bringing her back down to the floor the dog kept going for her but she kept in the air goin from 1 length of line back to the orher i went absolutly mental with its stupid fkn owner i honestly would av killed that dog if i

Haha every1 loves a skater it put up a good fight considering she grabbed it by the head it still dragged her a good 20 feet across the field. How iv missed that sound of the squeeling bunny haha. (Sickos) haha...

Jessie got her first bunny of the season today. 50 metre flight and shes binds to the head. Rabbit kept running for about 5 seconds while she had it by the head this is the forst time iv saw this happen. Il upload the pic i got.

Thanks mate, nice one she sounds like she will be in good hands, its just i would hate to see her kept in an aviary doing nothing when shes survived perfectly fine without any helpI'd rather see an owl sat in an aviary doing nothing than a young lad with his face ripped off or an old pensioner lose there pet lap dog. Best of luck in catching it mate deadly feet on them. Atb. Thats my exact point mate. Fair enough if it wernt causing any mayhem to the locals and was just doing its normal hunting routines but this beast seems to be attacking anything in its menace. Hope i can fix this problem an

i dont mind the questions honest i wouldnt of made the thread if i didnt want to be drilled with Qs.. If i didnt get anywhere with it then that would be my next goal of getting it somewhere more habitable than its current location. I would release it back to the place i caught it but that would just be damn stupid as its been well nown to attack people round the estatte and thats pretty much defeating my case of capturing it in the first place so id probably take it somewher out the way big open coutryside fields with nearby woodlands and release it there. Its hunting abilitys wouldnt be effe

Yeah iv heard and read that too but anythins possible in this game. If i wernt up for the challenge though i wouldnt be out trying to catch it as hate to see any type of bop kept as a status pet.
-
For starters il be pleased to see it off the streets as its attacking young lads and other random people. If its owner comes forward id be happy enough to see it back to its rightfull place but if no1 happens to claim it then il man it down myself and set myself a huge challenge of getting this bird trained up and looked after good and proper..

Well heres a update on the eagle owl i went down just after work tonigh very unprepared. I took down a rabbit carcass and nothing else but that. Literally 5 minutes of looking the owl came right over my head and onto a gutter on a house near the field. I threw out the rabbit right in its sight and held back into a bush. About 2 minutes passed and the owl was on my bait!!! I decided on the most stupid crazy idea ever as i had nothing else on me to trap i i decided to take off my coat and slowly approach it and literally take a dive on it with my coat lol yes i no i am fking nuts ha. As i was li

and all wild birds are at or near top weight and dont hunt on hunger but instinct and not many will for go an easy meal, only trained birds dont respond at top weight or the yanks arabs etc would catch nothing would they ??/ Nail hit bang on the head
