Well I needed to waterproof a wall in this farmhouse we were working on. But first I needed to remove centuries of paint! I was having most success chipping it of with a scutch hammer! All that happened was I caught an old rusty nail and it span off into my eye! Luckily rather than it hitting straight on it went in and down the side so it hasn't effect my vision! I was told by the surgeon that if it had been a millimetre deeper it would have pierced the second layer and I would have been in deep sh*t! I urge everybody not to take any risks with your health! You might feel a little uncomfortabl

Well after 2 hours in theatre it looks like I'm keeping my eye! I can't say it was the most pleasant experience of my life but it has taught me a valuable lesson. Wear my safety glasses!

And to top off an already fantastic week I've just had a rusty nail fly off and stick in my eye! I can't see feck all out of it!

It's always the mans fault even if it isn't! Every avenue I've been down CSa. Cab or anything else you can see what they are thinking! It must be me mustn't it? That poor poor woman all on her own looking after those kids! Well it isn't like that at all! Everytime she gets a new fella she suddenly grows a pair and starts throwing her weight around and I'm just supposed to bite my lip and do as I'm told!

Problem is now she has clouded there judgment and they are saying they don't want to come over! I can't afford to go to court now that legal aid has stopped. And even if I did go to court and won she could still make life awkward! I wouldn't mind but I truly have done nothing wrong other than say no to her mental demands!

is anybody else suffering with ticks? a month or so ago I rehomed a ferret and ever since on nearly a daily basis I am removing ticks! I use shop bought straw for bedding,could he be getting them from that? would it be worth changing to wood shavings? cheers rob

I took on a dog back in the early 90s! it was a whippet terrier mix and feck me was he good. I would use him to flush rabbits to the lurchers but he would catch more than the lurchers. if I could have kept his nose off the ground I think he would have made a decent lamper. I went out with a local traveller and doubled him up on hares and actually nabbed a couple over the years!

It doesn't bother me how they slaughter the animal and it doesn't bother me that I'm eating it! What bothers me is that if you or I were to treat animals in this way we would be facing charges! How is it that we can ignore the laws of this land for a handful of people because of some bs religion? British slaughter houses have to jump through hoops to keep trading so why should these a holes be allowed to take the pish?
