  1. Well with the onset of spring firmley in the air we found our selves reveling in task of drawing the hounds on one of the larger woods today. I've been waiting optimistically after a days rough shooting gave me the first mouth watering glimpse of what this wood could hold. Like a fisherman lost in the depths of a lake I've often stood ,wondered and waited for the opportunity to cast my line out in the murky depths. Today was that day and after such a long build up a anti climax was not to be. As ever the usual traditions were up held but for some reason I was given a double strength coff

  6. i see the surgeon 9-15 thursday morning its took from the first week in oct fooking nhs had my scan in january ---- thing is its a lot better now than it was 5 months ago unless i`ve just learnt to cope with it ..You're lucky mate, I gave up plastering in 06 and have only just started applying for work again after I've had the last of my ops.. Believe it or not it took 7 years and 4 surgeons to fix mine so good luck
  7. I'll more than agree with you both there !!!!!!!!!! It's not to bad at the moment but I did just move it about and feel a twinge but thats normal . It's the arthritic pain that get me at the moment forking sicking and i'm only in my thirties . I had a bit of a bad one a few months back hanging some stable doors on my own . I mange to get them all on but something went again and couldn't raise my arm above my waist . Fun and game finishing them off one handed

  12. I've had a lot of trouble with my shoulder over the years, through a rugby injury even to the extent of bone grafts to rebuild the socket after so many dislocations...............................I feel for you mate because I Know how painful and mind Numbing it can be alt times

Well with most packs starting to wide proceedings down this time of year myself and my good mate P see a spike in activity .Due to the end of the shooting season and the opportunity to run hounds through those forbidden pheasant laden coverts and woods. I particularly look forward to this time of year because a good keeper knows whats on the ground and that little piece of inside information can be the key to success even if the odds are firmly against you. As ever a plan was set and phone calls made but a number of unfortunate event conspired against us once again but unfazed we ventur
