  12. No problem mate, I to have a few young ones, 16, 12, and 8, it is the 12 year old that does all the handling and nip training, he even took two kits last year to a show and tell class, no problems with nipping at all, if you ever want to take up the offer, just contact me, we always have a spare ferret around for a fellow Irishman, make sure you get a day or two out with Carlowhunter, remember " old age and craft will always beat youth and skill " .

Welcome to the forum mate, I'm on the same island as you, just further north (Co Down), if I can be any help, just ask, and if you would like a well handled 14 week old hob and don't mind a drive,"come on up", either way don't go out and buy any ferrets, I am sure there plenty of good lads near you that would sort you out with the gift of a few.

  18. Welcome to the forum, I had that clay shooting bug once myself, and it is sure hard to get rid of it, and just when you think you are over it, it comes back stronger than ever, I have to say I'm about 11 years clear now, but every now and then I have flash backs, by the way what discipline do you shoot ?. ( I enjoyed every minute of it, apart from the bad score days).
  19. A few weeks time and all will be hairy again, just like anything else .
