  4. I've taken him every where right from the first picture he will walk and run all night and nothing phases him. All of this is from advise from a Lurcher man who has been doing it for 35 years so guess he knows his stuff. I'm more than pleased with him and can only thank this chap for introducing me to the x.
  5. cheers mate, hear yours is doing really well!!
  6. Interesting, how long ago did your mate do this and where abouts roughly? ATB.
  7. Cracker mate, all the best with it. Good fun x
  8. 140 is plenty you don't need any thing more for running dogs.
  9. When you come over I can show you the run I've just built if you like it we could pop over to my mate and pick up a couple of galvanised panel any size you want and get an idea of what I've done for the cub it all insulated. If you haven't got a trailer I'll take them back to yours and we could have a look for a rabbit after? That if you like it though.
  10. What an odd question, It is obvious that the rabbit is still alive. TC I'm after one for a pet there's none round by me first one ive seen for years.
  11. A pups eyes always looks bright in the lamp if you run them next to an adult dog. It's like the adults knows not to look at the light direct. Just my opinion. But never seen one not to light up though.
  12. the mal x is 28tts and is 9 months old now. i think its best to get them out young and get them going through gates and fences and get them watching other dogs work. makes for a better dog in the long run. ATB.
  13. A mate of mine wanted to show his 4 month old first x bull greyhound a rabbit and the lamp so we had a quick look in one field and caught two rabbits with my malamute x pup. He retrieved them nicely so we showed my mates pup the rabbit and this is how much he liked it! On the way back to the motor we threw the rabbit for him in which he retrieved straight back to us each time. Nice start!
