Lucky x tipper which was straight out of deacon, the story I heard about that dog is that he bumped into some lads coursing around hull and bought the dog off them for 500 because they said it was to steady, bargain, but I think the dog definitely needed the right land
-
Fast up to them but doesn’t look overly fast once on because he a clever dog and only runs as fast as needed not like other fast dogs that overshoot all the time but not done that much with him yet
-
Well I must be genuine because when he took me I slipped on my first and missed that so slipped again then again then again then again and ended up missing all 5 lol, tricky land thow and good hares, he better take me on some better land if I travel all that way again
-
Haven’t read the last few pages so don’t know if I’ve missed something here
-
More likely not to slip on massive open land for fear that if it’s a top notch hare and the dog hasn’t got the minerals it could get blown to bits
-
Very good point I get what your saying, but there is no way of knowing how good the hare is until you have slipped anyway
-
Id walk twice as far as you at twice the speed your like a snail on tranquillisers lol
-
Sorry, it’s drovers fault he started this whole silly idea off, we should all pull out immediately I say
-
You not heard of that song by the proclaimers then
-
Got some muscle on its back, I think that’s were whippet and greyhounds get there extra speed from because they tend to flex there backs a lot when running to get that extra power where as if you watch a saluki running flat out they tend to keep there backs flat which may slow them down a bit but saves a lot of energy from not using all those extra muscles, that’s why you wouldn’t see a pure saluki with back muscles like that
-
I have the power, did you use to watch He-Man blacky, real good cartoon
-
Im a first cross lol Welsh sire x Scottish dam from Fort William
-
Yes I’ll be up for it, best bred grew in the country, Cindy Nero Romeo x Greyhound buddy tweed, or could run me other young dog out of tikka or new bitch I’m getting half sister to your red bitch out of the same saluki bitch as yours but sire is skeletor

A pure that jacked x a lamper with no wind, Tilly was a good bitch thow, funny how breeding works you can put champions together and still get rubbish, I remember Tony howley putting his very good bitch Turk to Joe Thompsons Sniper that won the forley and Tony on video saying how good the pups were going to be and they all turned out rubbish -

I know your bitch is sharp and good mouth and if she wasn’t already bred out of a pure I would put a pure back to her but because she is I wouldn’t, you might get all the saluki genes lining up and end up to slow -
Amy whinehouse because she looks depressed lol

No I wouldn’t always do it, only to the right bitch that would ideally be quite tightly bred then outcross to a pure and you get that hybrid vigour when the pups turn out better than either parent, doesn’t always work but I do like a fast type coursing bred back to pure, I personally wouldn’t put a pure back to mCs bitch as she is already out of a pure so a lot of the pups could end up like pures and be to steady imo but you never know -

Never seen him run, he could kill hares but I’ve heard people say he was a plodder, which is surprising because all of the Cindy x Nero litter were rapid, I don’t think they would of turned out any faster if I’d of used a greyhound, my bitch had unreal speed and caught plenty on small land, I’d of been no better off with a whippet greyhound on small land because she was so fast but she had plenty of blow aswell -

There is a dog out of the Cindy x Nero litter, shot and retrieved with bird of prey
