  5. I have a clumber x cocker who is 12 now and retired.fantastic nose and one of the best retrievers i have had.very thorough when looking for dead game but with very little prey drive not so good in a beating line.she would not work thick cover even with my two sprockers.
  6. From the caravan park side i had some dace and a couple of brownies.cracking sunny autumn day.will be back to try for some trout on the fly this year.

  10. Im think of the lads up north on here has one for sale off a d40
  11. One of the picker ups on our shoot has a young clumber and she is coming on well.harder to train than other spaniels though.
  12. Mate of mine is selling a 300tdi.chassis is great and it has no issues.up near durham.i know the car as i owned it for years.looking for around 1600 i think.
  13. Good price.check the rear wheel arches and in front of the rear mud flaps.thats where they rot.
  14. X trails are better than i thought after running one last season.just had it valeted before i sell it and was impressed by how hard wearing and clean the interior came up.
  15. Thanks for that, but she who must be obeyed has stated it must be a snug top type.it would have been ideal for me but it was part of the deal before I bought it.
  16. Hi im after a full hard top for an 08 d40 Nissan navara.silver or black would be good.the pick up i have bought has a bed cover which cost the previous owner a few quid but is no good for the dogs.thanks
  17. Its funny that as they seem to be crapping more since i changed from the Skinners duck and rice.
  18. no different than a dog wearing a shock collar when working cover and i have seen a few of those.if you have ever had to stitch or superglue a dogs chest after it has caught a felled tree branch when working cover then in my experience prevention is better than cure.
  19. I have no reservations about putting a coat on to stop any of my dogs getting torn up by brambles.when you see the rips in the underside of the coat its better that than the dogs chest.
