  7. Two youths in hoodies, one helping his mate get over my mates back fence, my mate saw them from a bedroom window and ran around the house, knocked the one off his fence with a good hard clout and belted the other hard, they reported him to the police for assault, the police knowing that the two youths were little shits anyway still had to caution my mate, my mate went on to the estate a coupla nights later found em and gave em another belting, and said ok go to the bobbies and report me again, and then I'll find you again, see who gets sick first, pain isnt a thing you ever get used too.
  8. I have a size 10 Opinel that I carry in my gun slip, when I reach my permisive shoot I take it out of the gun slip and put it in my pocket and take it with me on the shoot, what am going to paunch rabbits with a stick? I dont think anybody being sensible in rural areas carrying a knife will ever get in to bother with the law.

    Bad experience

Ditchy! you do not make stew, soup, casserole or anything like it with belly pork, its 60% skin and fat you ROAST it very slowly and render the fat out, then! when its cooked you serve it with baked suet puddings and all the trimmings, as with flap of mutton, cooked properly they taste amazing.
  12. Ken Follett, love all his stuff but pillars of the earth and the sequel world without end are unputdownable, and nobody has mentioned Bernard Cornwell! where would british history fiction based on fact be without his genious.
  13. have you ever tried to sneak up on a rookery? you have to be invisible and smell like bark, you get one chance a year when the young flig the nest and gather in groups close by, then its like shootin fish in a barrel, failing that just before the young leave the nest you can shoot into the bottom of the nest with a catapult and the young will hop onto a branch ajacent to the nest, then you get a chance to shoot them, and as for taste!! well! rather you than me.
  14. my little banger at the bottom, love it
  15. Why? its not illegal, it was in season and i had permission. i dont really care if you "recommend" it or not. if its not against the law and was killed humanely why remove it? Theres plenty worse throughout the rest of the forum, have you deleted the entire catapults thread in the gamekeeping section or the canada goose shot with an air gun thats been on here lots of times? Its funny how attitudes change over the years, my Dad used to tell me of his working days during The Second World War as a plough man, and how he used to shoot Plovers and Gull’s from his tractor with a catapult, t

Im from east cleveland Coney, only a coupla month ago in my workshop that overlooks a back alley, a bang on the window, looked closer and there was a hole as clean as whistle thro the glass, out in the alley two kids playing with what looked like a Crossman Ratbuster, I ran out to take it off em (always fancied one of them lol) and they ran off givin me a mouth full of lip. this in broad daylight in a busy town, little twats need sorting before we all suffer for their stupidity.
