    was on the phone to a very goid freind of mine and he was telling me about long netting so i was on the phone and he was telling me about this new permo he got he said it just 3 small fields butt there alive with rabbit so he said the walked in settt the long nett along the front of the dith sett 3 terriers in 2 minuts later the terriers barking like mad and 4 rabbits break cover and hit the net ! just sounds so easy would love to hear anyones stories on it !

    looks good get the narrowist spot so there close to the bait mabye would help what i use is 18lb line dunno the make of rad an reel and wire trace two treble hooks and makrel is the best all salt fish with the most oil also try get your hands on some red wool pike like there presentation and i just fire it in with no float keep the line nice and tight and whatch the top for move ment good luck hope this helps

    Sorry I missed a question on this on another thread because I was on holiday for 5 days in Knoydart after Shanes - pure bliss no car, no 'phone, no internet and no TV. One pub 1.5 miles away from where we were staying and sunshine virually every day. With walking, eating and drinking I came back ready to finish off our planning for Birr and I am afarid I didn't feel like trawling through a lot of posts on Shanes. So my apologies if you or someone else felt they didn't get an answer - as you know I normally try to answer every post - good or bad!. We had intended to split the classes at Shanes
