    I agree Lucky.............I had a bull/grey saluki/grey & he was as game as anything else you could get..........He would tackle anything & I accounted for alot of game with this dog however one swallow does'nt make a summer & in my opinion he was a bit of an anomily Like my mates straight Saluki cross that would murder foxes regularly , Does that mean Salukis make great fox dogs...NO!!!! but in every aspect of hunting you get one offs & thats the bare bones of it..........My old dog came to me by chance & if I wanted a fox dog these days , if it was legal of course , I wo

    I know someone who worked for the CA............He left because he was sick & tired of funds being squandered.... As I have said I'd rather put my £50 into my dogs........Us terrier lads take a risk everytime we go out these days & thats the reality of it , our opposition have got what they want to a degree & we simply have to cope with it..........Well meaning but out of date & misguided clubs or society's cant do anything for me & my terriers these days and Im happy not to draw attention to myself by being part of a group or club .     When I first got into this lark WILF I wanted to Know the names , I wanted to be part of the clique...............After some harsh lessons and some eye openers I woke up..........I realised that alot of the names had dogs I'd probably pts & were more interested in noteriety & cash than they were in the dogs...!!!...........I realised that the talkers & club boys ........ well....eeeeerrrrrrr......... talked & were in clubs !!!!!!........Dont get me wrong some of the associations mean well but these days are meaningless when push comes to shove........As I have said the people

    What can they do for you & what does being a member mean...??? I dont mean to sound a c**t but I dont see what being a member of a club or association can achieve these days........     There are obviously ALOT of genuine lads who would greatly contribute to the site , yourself included mate but the reality is that a site like this existed before but toward the end for every good lad you would get 2 prize c***s..........A line has to be drawn in the sand somewhere & its a f*****g shame as Im sure there are some lads who want in who could contribute alot .................     Some sour grapes of some old names I see on this thread.........Come on Vixen & co , smoochers 5 yrs ago was great & look what happened to that when the floodgates were opened , Working Earthdog has been created & is preserved for lads who actually put their dogs in the earth , Its a bit like the ronseal advert really .     I think I remember that old site lads.............. I remember that poster "taffy".........he used to put up some great reads...!!!!............. As for the system for "The working earthdog" ....... Its spot on & as my friend Boots said it helps to make the existing members feel a bit more secure............You speak alot of sense sometimes MR but you also can come across as a prick on times as well...............I wonder who you are..............Ive got a few suspicions.......

    Chiefs right there............The merchants on the GG's are the ones who's money pays for the channel..........Its better then having nothing at all I suppose.............It was a good documentry though & I'll be keeping my eye on the channel for future programmes..........Hope they show that one about the stoats on that big estate.........

    Hello lads.........Brother in Law just got hold of one of these fairly cheap.........I know its an older gun but it seems a tidy buy complete with Tasco scope silencer bag & sling..........All the reviews I have read give it a great rating..........Myself , I always had weirachs but then got a Superten which I swore by , This was out of his price range though.........What do you think fellas.....

    i would'nt mind a bitch pup from that breeding, i've heard good things about the bitch, we will have to arrange a night out lamping later in the season so you can see him wreck a bit of stuff . p.s hows the bitch i heard she's had a bad injury recently ? she,s on the mend mate but dont think she,ll be doing much this season
