    Will bell you later bud. thanks for the chat mate. just land checked it and its already cleared for .223. but firearms could not say if that was the highest cal passed off or just the cal previously applied for!! because in there wisdom they don't note that on the police system. so to find out I am forced to put in a variation and they will probably have to send out plod again if i apply for a higher cal than .233!!! as they have a new feo for that area. if plod had just stated the checking criteria it would make their life much easier and i would know what best to p

    thanks for your response. would you ever go back to a .223 or 22-250 (asuming you have not got these cals as well /as some people prefer to use one cal more than others)?

    Hello all, I am aiming to get a .243 hopefully because like the .22lr it's a great all-rounder. As an outline I will be using it for fox and deer. I am very sure that my land is safe for .243 but i fear there are few deer on it. Most deer shooing will be on other sites. some helpful members have given some helpful tips in helping me to overcome this. So for now the .243 is my aim. Being such a versatile round I am interested to learn of peoples experiences with regard to reloading cost and bullet velocity/bullet weight combinations and if they found accuracy benefits aside from the cost.     when i got the twink (year ago) there was a baffle right at the front near the barrel end just off the unf thread. but sadly the baffle broke into small parts so i sent it back and it came back removed. even with this removed baffle, on the wolf i can only hear the action if the gun is set to say 11-13ftlbs. i would be interested to see how the twink compaired to the decemator mod. becuase its shorter than the decemator i belive.

    I will have to try one, someone said they are good on .22lr’s using subs also. The thing with the air gun, its long already so moving around is a pain, car window, cattle shed, gate, etc. So in many cases i just put up with a little extra noise, with the daystate reflex mod. The farmers are used to shotguns so some are not to worried. The pull ties are starting to pay for themselves now! Before i put these two little stick of green on most crows flew off. Now with the pull ties on the shroud most of the crows die instantly with a clean kill. Shooting today between 30 – yards. I go
