  8. good luck mate, plenty of free meat!
  9. they may mean at a slight angle to the line of sight through the scope. underneath the barrel or above the scope. pointing up or down. as the laser appears higher or lower than centre of the scope it should show you the range changing. its a bit of a faff and much easier to use a range finder for accurate ranging. it can help at night with nv if you use a nv laser.
  10. i had a 12l 300 bar bottle and a 3l 300 bar bottle. both been sold now for a while and have 2 pumps! love the pumps. very easy to use fx 3 stage, and I have a 400cc tank on my gun and shoot it at 36ft/lbs. would never go back to the bottles. air is free. keeping fit is great. pumps are less hassle and cost. it also makes me conserve pellets more when plinking. of course if you are unwell or have health problems then a tank might be a better option. if one day the gun smith finds my guns tank has been damaged internally by moiture then I may reconsider my opinion on pumps but until
  11. sorry for the late reply rob. ok i will take that
  12. i would say its very good and fast up to 200 then after that its a bit slower. i think it rated at up to 400y
  13. Deer Management Services for competence and safety with rimfire and Centerfire rifles is that not covered in the deer stalker 1 cert?
  14. not much consistency. sounds like the police need to get there act together. nothing unusual there then.
  15. i am just lucky with the eleys and my gun working well together. i have no doubt you could shoot better than me and easily do it. crazy as it sounds with zero wind my air gun is slightly more accurate than my rimfire up to 130 yards. i'm no great shot, just a guy that is leanring all the time from more experienced fellows like yourself. by the way thanks for the cosine chart.
  16. thanks for the nice coments chaps. its a browning 52 target rifle .22lr with cut down barrel and threaded unf. brought it from the countryman of derby the dealer got it from a bankrupt dealer as second hand i paid 399 for it and he gave me £100 for my anshutz semi auto in exchange at the time. he reconds its got more levers in the trigger than he has ever seen on a gun. standard trigger is awsome on it made in japan. japanese engineering. had a look at a mannlicher the other day in .243. the trigger needs to be pushed forward for the hair trigger setting. thats the only trigger i have
  17. my mate says, 'if its not raining its not traning, if its not snowing where not going' no guesses for where he got this from!
  18. the video is made for the minority of people who think i have been telling porkies and to provide a direct answer to the original question of the thread: here is the u tube video of me my .22lr a bipod and 100 yards. made today 02 05 12. there was a little wind which took the group to the right. i did not account for the wind in this shooting experiment. i also aimed high by 0.1 of a mill dot as the half mill dot on my rectical was used as an aim point. real aim point for 100y on my setup is -2.4mill dots. i used -2.5mill dots for ease of aiming in this experiment. i just wanted to demons
