Agree with Simo, Rotts and Shepherds are the way forward. When I helped look after the secuirty dogs in south africa for a few months, I always found the Doberman a very nervous breed (not one you want around kids). I would also stay away from the bandogs & Mastiffs however you may only need a bluff dog (which in most cases is all you need) so you could look at a Bullmastiff but I'd go for a rottweiler or a German Shepherd.

You can see LR's from 25yr's ago still getting some hammer i've never seen another car make do that. (might be wrong)

My uncle has the Q7 band rates it very highly but its just a 'chelsea tractor' no good off road. I'd have to agree with SS and go for a Range Rover everytime. What do people think of the Lincoln Navigator and the escalade?

Not to get in the middle.............but theres a big difference between a person who matches dogs and a person who fights dogs..............SS is 100 % correct nobody schooling a potential match dog would school it on a non combat dog.................however that doesnt mean some little shithead with what he thinks is a fighting dog wouldnt do it just for the sheer hell of it. What is that reason then? if you need to ask lab you dont need to know flower.
