  1. Thanks davy! I'm guessing this piston seal I bought for a mk2and5 won't fit it then
  2. I found the serial number and it is TG43520 how do I find out what mk it is? Lewis
  3. Got a BSA super sport and cash you way?
  4. Thanks, I ment to have a look at the serial number but forgot last night when I was sanding the stock and barrel. I will tonight and let you know. And thanks for all them links rake about I'm sure they will help
  5. If its grouping about 2inchs at 20yards with aa then it might be a case of the rifle not the pellets? Lewis
  6. Right lads my dad had an old meteor lying about under his bed and it's a battered old thing. Dented stock, scratched barrel, broken trigger, perished seals and of I look hard enough there's probably more things I just haven't opened it up yet I've only started to sand the stock and barrel. I need to know what's the best paint to use on the barrel with it being metal and what would you say to coat the stock in? I fancy and greenly coloured varnish but not even sure if you can get them? Much like the air arms super light hunter stock that colour. I've ordered and new trigger unit, piston
  7. Hi there, I'm sorry to say you you won't get much for the 100 pound mark if you could manage another 50-100 pound you could get yourself a nice second hand springer from weirrauch or air arms (the two main and possibly only good spring rifle makes) I sure if you look about enough and research the rifles your looking to buy you should get a good one Lewis
  8. It will be a nice little project for me to start on, for the gun and postae its costing me around 55 quid for the gun, afew pellets and some oil so I can't complain he has sent me his ebay account so I can check his feedback
  9. I think il buy it, this guy doesn't have a clue but the barrel has been painted black and the wood vanished
  10. Alright il give him a pm now thanks wurz
  11. Nothings wrong I love it just I don't need to for mass killing now my permission now it's been wiped out by mixi. But if I bought the gun I wouldn't need the other as I still haven't sold my super sport
  12. Right lads I've got the chance of buying one for 65 quid f2f I think this is abit of a bargin but I was wanting to know if it's a good enough deal? If been told by the guy it's in good condition and shoots at 11flb. If its a good enough gun il sell my s16 Lewis
  13. As it says I want a double ferret box in the Durham area Pm me if you know of anything, lewis
  14. The s16 is a very under rated gun I love mine, accurate as they come and if looked after will have no problems Atb with the sale, lewis
  15. i say .22 for hunting and .177 for plinking. .22 because of the extra knock down power and isnt really to bad at range if your know your scope and gun well but the .177 because the pellets are cheaper and will still knock anything over if you place your shot correctly lewis
  16. If your talking about tuning it to fac limits you need to pm each other not talk about it on a open forum
  17. Put it this way .22 your going to be paying double for a decent spring air rifle than what you will pay for that smk
  18. nice one mate, my ferret love a nice pigeon to munch on. whatever i shoot goes to them if i dont use it atb lewis
  19. thats one beautiful rifle that superten you have got there moley well done with that bag! any chance you could pm me a few tips on shooting at different heights in trees and barns im struggling abit with it at the moment? lewis
  20. I find ebay really good and buy my from there
  21. Iv got a logun s16 in .22 with nikko sterling scope and pump that iv just bought but want to get back in springers pm if you want anymore details Lewis
  22. Depends on your countries legal limit here it's sub 12ft/lb so really there just as good as each other but the 97k abit accurater because of fixed barrel but the do do the in fac (more powerful) model but you could probably tune both to be more powerful Lewis
  23. If your from a fixed hunting position and know all your ranges then the simple answer is the .22 because there is more energy on impact but the down sides are the holdover at the different heights and can be tricky to master. So if your not very familiar with your scope and rifle take the .177 because there is less gravitational affect that takes place in the lighter pellet so there is less drop and only need little holdover so more margin for error if you dont get the holdover right. I'm guessing your shooting into trees and possibly decoying? Best of luck, Lewis
  24. Hawkes are good but the one I have on my bsa supersport is quite long but the new nikko sterling 3-9xs0 ir ao doesn't cost much and was designed for small game hunting. I perfer that to the hawke
  25. Asking a lot there for the money mate and your going to have a think about charging equipment. You could get a high end springer for that price
