Hi everyone, i have just started working my young lurcher its her first season the problem ive got is if she misses a rabbit and it goes to ground in a hedge she still trys to find it and makes loads of noise trying to get into the hedge and more seriously she has got stuck a few times. Shes my first lurcher so any tips would be great many thanks

Can't help you out, but how has he managed to end up with it all, if it was shared land you both found between you? got to the landowner before i could mate and made me out to be the bad guy, also he has fac so the owner was always going to take his side, it turned into no fun when he was just thinking about all the money he could make all im interested in is hunting for a hobby and putting some meat on the table, and no to the others who have posted i do not do anything illegal and hunting rabbits with dogs either in the day or at night useing a lamp is perfectly all above board an

  17. Cheers mate, I've found a joist in the bedroom cupboard so I'll screw it into the floor, and one half onto the joist, then put a padlock on the cupboard and deadbolts on the door. Fort Knox they won't complain yh that should be more than enough pal
  18. my house is timber framed and i put mine in a built in wardrobe and used coach screws into the timbes, the feo was fine for my shotgun, ive done the same with my ammo box as i will be sending in for my fac soon, my friend who lives across the wall has a same house and he did this and was passed so not all doom and gloom mate

  20. sorry mate i should have said, my young bitch has been around a ferret and she wasnt bothered by it bit at all, bit scared if anything, the whippet hasbeen worked with ferrets by its previous owner so again should be fine, and i also realise this was the wrong section to place this thread sorry admin, if anyone is interested get in touch its great ground
