  7. The jrt's I went with wernt vocal but I can imagine others are. And theres a few who do use plummers below ground but I just think its how theyve been brought on, but then I used to bush with a lad with 2 patts and 1 was just as quick as my plummer and also vocal. Another thing with mine is that it quite often catches them in the bush which is abit sh*t for the lurchers, I wouldnt change mine for the world though, brilliant dogs! T10
  8. Im not an expert either but I do own a plummer and have worked a jrt for a short period and seen another work and the main 2 differences I noticed was that the plummer was quicker through cover and the yap of the plummer when its behind game which is useful to us as we bush to lurchers. But there will always be a jrt that is just as good as a plummer, same as there will be a patterdale just as good. I cant say if it would be the same throughout the breed as this is just my opinion, hope this helps, T10
  9. I hope its just that, then at least I could sell it as a working collar, thanks pal, t10

  11. Ive recently purchased a 2nd hand old style bellman collar and it doesn't appear to work correct. Ive got the pieps dsp box, the lastest one with version 8.2 if that matters, and when the collar is switched on the box says the wrong distance, e.g the other night it was saying 22m when it was approx 1m away and was also picking up 2-3 signals? I tried my rechargable collar after the old 1 incase it was interferance but the new collar worked spot on, also on the old collar the led was green. Has anyone had similar issues? thanks in advance t10

  15. If you take it to a garage with a diagnostic computer they can find out exactly what it is in minutes, wont cost much for them to do either but by the sounds of it its went into limp mode, all the best t10
