  1. i dont dislike any type rough /smooth or any cross seen good and bad in most i enjoy watching any good dog work from whip to d h its all about enjoyment of being out doing a bit
  2. looking at your av pic i wont say your the brightest. and its people like you who this sport doesnt need.dismissing a cross because you dont like it how many bull xs you seen run not many i think and shite for turning can charlie not spin on a sixpence and i know plenty of bullxs carry bunnys back live to hand not that your views count for anything
  3. sorry i disagree lurchermen have always been on the radar i dont think you can blame just the bull x for all the heat we now get i think you can blame the media for that there just as interested in hare coursers with there salukis x and you cant say its just bullx owners who are stealing from farms etc or leaving deer carcasses at the side of the road yes i do agree the cross does have a clown following but doesnt all crosses and any dog thats that badly scarred up then they should be left at home like any dog should be be it bullx or terrier i agree with you on the media but the anti o
  4. we will have to agree to disagree mate before the bull x phenomenen when collie x and dh were in favour most landowners and organisations viewed lurcher owners as poachers with sheep worrying dogs its like how many times have you seen landowners watch you with the view of being a wrong un plenty i bet and how many lads have been knocked back for permission just because they have a lurcher with them and not just a bullx either

  9. point seek destroy what you hunting taliban
  10. ask yourselfs and be honest are they really worth breeding from [ tried and tested in the field with plenty of seasons under there belt ] can the mating improve what you have already is there not a better stud you can use can you find good homes for the pups im not knocking you lads or your dogs but i would weigh all the pros and cons up before breeding and just that sometimes its better to get a well bred pup in
  11. i dont think anyone likes doing it but with good permission so hard to come by and keep and the amount of lads willing to do whatever to get permission including the rifle men its a job thats needs to be done otherwise it will be one less farm you have and word of mouth soon spreads amongst farmers that such a body wouldnt come out so i got such a body to sort it
  12. sorry brock but ive seen collie xs take them singlehanded regular not saying all can because some cant like all crosses a well known terrierman had one years ago called billy that took some beating single handed including catching them which is a job in its self
  13. 5/8 3/8 or a second gen half x but any cross that can do what it was bred for pre ban
  14. one a night is plenty for him an a bag of rabbits but hes doing it on his own an as for working around holes he could show your bullx a trick or two i dont think so and some need a dog to do more than 1 in a night single handed its just like i couldnt get as many bunnies as you and for you to dismiss what a bull x can bring to the job is a bit naive theres good and bad in all crosses just the bullx has suffered more than most due to messers that attached themselves to the cross but for the job they were bred for there hard to beat and as a cross to other lurchercrosses they can and do make
  15. good luck with the lining and thats a nice bitch p***y
  16. once went lamping to a farm who had a collie in a kennel on the path that leads to the fields so we walked round my mate climbed onto a wall walked a few paces then dissappeared we run over to see whats happened only to find he has dropped in the middin full of cow shite head to toe covered in shite and wrecthing for all he was worth we couldnt stop laughing tears rolling then the poor lad spent 2 hours in just his boxers in the back of the van with the dogs on the way home dont know how we would explain that if we got pulled
  17. august are you saving up for a blue one
  18. hoker i dont think you have seen many whippet xs taking 2 or 3 foxes a night regular like a bullx or they being as good round holes as a bullx and as for being dragged round or over try lead training before you take them out and a good bull xas alot to offer including being used as a outcross i just hope the messers than try to ruin thebull x dont do it with th d/h cross than seems to becoming back in fashion and ive seen some good arounders bullxs
