just curious what you prefer for an overall lurcher. e.g. temperment, trainability drive. anything! tell us what you think.

My dogs first bunny was a black one

dogs all the way, used to use a rifle but found out running the dogs is a better game. gives the quarry a chance and isnt always the same. but thats just my opinion. i just dont like it when rifle men shoot high numbers (greedy). but that can happen on both sides

bull greyhound performance/looks your opinions?
rob284 replied to CallumDonohoe's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
i think a very racey one would be a must but i dont think they're a dog of choice when it comes to bunnies. they will be ok but would be as good as a good collie grey or whippet cross on bunnies. more of a big game dog -
Rabbits,,, where the hell are they ?
rob284 replied to Rake aboot's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
seeming as most of my area and county has been wiped out with mixi their isnt much. obvs there still is some, but the numbers arent high. maybe your area is fine. due to the mixi fox have had easy pickings and there are high numbers. -
ive seen posts of whippetxbull's, just wondering if anyone knows that jp still breeds them or not. and if he has any litters coming soon.

you must be skint fella, not many good working dogs go for free.and learn to spell dick .also is your user name really loan hunter?did you borrow the money to go hunting?or do u mean lone hunter............c......t if you'd look before you say anything you would find out that free ads isnt free dogs, its free advertisement. no need to get all bitchy mate

IMO a bull cross is a lurcher that has bull in it but is thrown to the bull side, just because it has bull in its parents doesnt mean it inherits them characteristics. well if its just got the 2 breeds bull and grey, its got more chance than if it had 3-4 other breeds in it .! With the right type bull , and most greyhounds have plenty of fire in there belly, thats what you will get with that bit of luck. Bullx grey or bullx whippet is what a bullx should be i think..! agree
