Heard and seen a couple of Feral cats being shot on Grouse Moors/Deer Forests around the 20lb mark. Believe me that is a fair lump of a cat. Not starting the stone throwing but about 13/14 years ago, A summers evening (Still Light) as i was heading home from a mates house on my 50cc motor bike, A black panther type cat about the same hight as a tall Labrador but a good bit longer jumped a stock fence and crossed the road no further than 20 yards in front of me, Cleared the opposite fence and took off like lightning through a grass field to a wood, Where i 13/14 years on have permision to s

Im down here doing a wee job at the Gas Storage Plant , Anyone on the site from this area. Looks like a nice spot. Huge fields round these parts for running the dogs.

This is obviously a wind up right ? I know a particular Deer hound x that would be up there with any dog in the country, Ive seen this dog do all sorts big and small, And for you to say they are really just for shows is feckin mad. This dog is one of the cleverist dogs at its chossen profession ive ever seen, And at around 7 years old with a excellent litter of pups to its name it still brings food to the table, As do the litter. Agree with above comments, Wrap a hot water bottle up in a jumper or blanket and put an ticking clock nearby. Should work a treat.

Im at the Grouse on Thursday. Think the best thing to do is go round the Estates and ask the Keepers if they require any beaters, Or maybe some folk that go beating in the local area could help you out.

Heard the Forestry Commision boys were having problems with them as they cant be stripped down and cleaned, They were blowing the end off them with excess use.

Got this lad around spring time, Squeeked him into around 50 yards. He weighed 24lbs. Biggest fox ive ever seen.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experince with P.E.S Supressors, Ive had mine a couple of years now in .243cal and must have fired prob around 400/500 rounds through it. Out the other night and shot 2 foxes near woods and thought it was just echo but half hour later out in the middle of a field shot another fox and it was fxxking loud. Would it be shot out ??

I have the Urika Mk2 Black synthetic 3" which as you probably know is almost exactly the same. As Deker said it all about the new recoil system. Great gun, My mate had a Mk1 Xtrema for years and it go loads of punishment at Geese Ducks pigeons etc. Highly recommend either of these wepons !!!!! -
