  5. Yes that's what i was thinking if something seems too good or too cheap to be true it normally is, cheers for your opinions.
  6. Sounds like the scope to be honest shifting zero all the time, have you chronoed the rifle check that its firing consistently, also if its winding you up all the time whilst shooting you will never get a good group!
  7. Has anyone ever used one of these kits? http://www.konceptus.pl/tuning-kit-for-air-arms-prosport.html Its half the price of most kits, but is it half the quality? Just wondered if it was worth a shot as it wont break the bank to try it out? Many thanks.
  8. Just found this club on the net, wondered if any one has ever been or is a member?, its only 14 mile down the road so will be making a trip next Sunday i think.
  9. That is what i was looking at getting a Sports match 1 piece mount but if these will do the job just as-well no point spending an extra £40 on mounts,
  10. Are the MTC Scope Mounts that come with the scope any good, they don't look as good quality as others, so the question is to stick with them or Upgrade to the usual sports match mounts. Many thanks.

  12. Well i decided to follow allot of advice today thanks to the weather, so i decided to strip and re-lube the prosport and....well the grease they put on was poor and had all shot to the fore-end of the spring and upon cleaning this i found between the poorly finished coil end and the next coil behind it metal swarf... i couldn't believe it...... this is dropping standards surely? I mean its not like its a tiny bit! Atb

  14. Morning Phil, I'm glad you have posted, i was going to ask for your advice on maintenance, i have oiled the pivot points of the rifle, and was wondering about re greasing it, it will be plucking up the confidence though ha ha i would hate to make it worse, i have read about the work timmytree has done on yours and also that he plans to write a post so i should wait for that i think! As for the pellets i put some AA Field 4.52 in to start with and for the first time ever i found these pellets were all over the shop and was worried it could be me and the rifle, but i then put some H and N FTT i
  15. Thanks and yes i agree the 77 stock works a treat with the 97 and deserves the limelight it has earnt, putting to shame two terriers and a bag of rat poison smashing the majority of the rats on the farm, it really is a work horse and that's where it will continue its duties, the Prosport is a new adventure and i will aim for HFT or ranges getting me out and meeting others with the same interest instead of staying a lone ranger haha. Atb.
  16. Not been on for a while, and a few weeks ago i had a word with Phil and we both came to the same conclusion although the SFS HW97 is deadly accurate he missed his Prosort and i missed my Tx200 and I fancied looking into getting another AA springer, over the past few weeks the HW97 has been put through its paces hammering the Rats on the farm, as now the Cattle have been turned out the feed bunkers are empty so you can see the rats scurrying around looking for scraps, the HW97 has proved itself to be a work horse sat in the loader most days for opportunity shots, but i decided it was time for a
