mk3m ferret finder + 1 collar and magnet key £120 1 of the collars doesnt seem to work, so im going to get it fixed so this is for 1 box and 1 collar only !

i thought id have a day out yesterday with the jill, i worked her last year, a good little worker she was last year, but yesterday i put her in a 14 holer she bolted 2 rabbits, i kept one and let the other go free as it was a bit small, the dog was still marking, so tried putting the ferret back, but she just wouldnt go in, no matter what i did? it was quite hot though, so im just putting it down to that and being the 1st day out ect but does anyone have any other ideas as to why she might not wanted to enter, perhaps it was the hot weather or she might of known there was n

well you would not belive it.... i had my parcel through the post a massive load of ferreting gear. but guess what the priest was a piece of hazel about a thick as your thumb and about 12" long couldnt belive it ! im so glad hes given up ferreting, hes sticking to his shooting from now on in. he must of had to hit them about 15 times to kill them with this stupid piece of hazel , he calls a priest ! ill stick to my stretching, untill i get the hang of chinning them ATB FT

iv always stretched them , never used a priest , but iv just bought aload of ferreting gear which has a priest in, to be honest i wont be using it, id like to learn how to chin them

iv spoke to the guy i bought them off again today and he reassured me the net thats ment to be hemp is 100% all hemp, so im gessing that other matieral around it , is just there to keep it tied up ect

a rat with scissors im going for lol thats mad though aint it, never heard of that happening before, but i suspect shes squeezed through a gap with something sharp taking her fur off ? mystery

if im honest iv never used hemp, always used nylon or spun poly, alot of people especailly the older generation use hemp, 35 year old nets you must of looked after those, as for hemp being heavy when wet, ill only take the nylon with me if its forcast rain, just cant wait to sort them out and get out and put them to use in the fields

you must of seen them too ,im hoping the hemp net is actually all hemp and he's just tied it up with a different colour mateiral ,,,,,that hemp net is what made me buy them to be honest, so im really hoping its going to be an half decent net. hopefully ill receive them tommorrow with a bit of luck, ill put some better pics up when they arrive, FT

yes , theyr put in the burrow entrance (one thats being used quite alot) set the trap but keep the safety catch on sprinkle fine soil over the trap to cover and fully hide it, then i use a twig to gently remove the safety catch, dont forget to pin it down so if a fox comes accross it , it wont be able to take the trap along with the rabbit, hope this help a little ATB FT
