    this was my 1st dhxgh x colliexgh 29" tts was a cracking all rounder he was alot rougher than this i shaved him for the summer these are old pics of them the one above is his uncle and this one aint bad either he stand 26 1/2"tts

    phone leprevo up in the morning explain what you want it for they may have some scrap big enough but you will need a welt in the sheath or the blade will cut through the stitching i did a thread on how to build a knife sheath everything is there to show you how to make one pal

    try leprevo they sell all kinds of leather if you want to dye it your self you want veg tan or you can buy dye through veg tan and a edge bevler and pricking irons sadlers needles and thread and a hawl

    on to my 2nd walking stick i will put a roe antler with cow horn spacer on this one this will be a smaller stick probably better for the young hunter

    well chaps got it blended in and a couple of coats of varnish think i will put two more coats on it in the morning though to give it the glass type look i like

I'd like a look too if you got any pics I'm not very good at pictures on here and iv'e given the last ones i made away i make when the mood takes me ,as Taz says you can get fed up doing em all the time ,I've been cutting blackthorn shanks over the last fortnight and I must have about 50+ dried and drying so they will keep me busy for a while LOL. you have a pm dd

    i thought i would try my hand at stick making ordered all my parts off ebay and some kind gents on hear game me some antler so i chose my stick and cut the antler straight and trimed the bottom so the ferrel will fit and drilled my holes for the threaded bar .its only a dry run as the stick need rubbing over with wire wool again and the antler and spacer need gluing to the threaded bar and farrel glued in place and then blend the antler to the spacer and stick but i am happy so far but still have plenty to do on it.
