The worst "SMOKE NAZIs" are usually the EX smokers,No need to ban Smokin' ,just learn manners,when to smoke in company,and Where .The sight of smokers all huddled round pub doorways,is worse,leads to Pavement engagements that are best avoided,when folk are full of DRINK !!!

I smoke,Holger Danske,Black Bourbon,in my Pipe,about 50g a week,Smoked more since Jack Mc Connel decided I was wasn,t To,Passive smokin' a Myth ! Was running dogs through winns,when one popped up,One of the fellas I was with took a pot shot,clipped it ,but ran on a few fields away,my Blaze ,Tracked up after it and lifted it again,then managed to peg it,Wounded ,but still caught,best thing about it ,Two witnesses,so no bullshit !

I know F.all ,but a D.V.D may show you something,let you understand how things work ,but and a big But it will not prepare anyone for Houndwork ! Only way,I.M.O. is start at the bottom work your way towards being able to hunt a brace or two..Being around Hounds ,night an day ,watching them work,how They are handled etc..You would need to emerse yourself in that type of work to achieve anything ..

I agree with you on that one, wouldn't have a clue were to start though !!! Would a ,Irish Working Dogs Assoc, not suit your needs more,Encompassing all working dogs that will be effected by Hunting Laws. The Model in Scotland ,seemed to work pretty well here in stopping some Leglisation,and we all Bicker here !P.M.Events Cordinater,may help in a Guidline to build on It was mainly Terrier clubs,Fox Destruction clubs,but you will need to get a few LEVEL heads on board .

What defines a hound nowadays ? Voice, carraige,Style of work or is it all Breeding ? Is a X a hound,depending if its less 50 % or more 3/4 etc. Would you class a Modern Working Teckel as a Hound,rather than a Terrier ? Terrier Xs are they just British/ Irish Griffons ? I.M.O if it gives tongue an a Scent,it could be classed as a Hound.. Collins Dict; states ," a keen pursuer."
