  1. e:mail sent I have been after one for myself for ages
  2. Your pellets are clipping the silencer use a straight rod same size as your bore to check alignment. Depending on the silencer you may have to strip it to check for marks where the pellets have clipped the internal baffle . I have found swarf from machining to be a problem in a few before stuck between baffle plates ,or the cap on the mod may just need tightening to center the internal baffles . Sometimes you need to check the machined face of your muzzle if it is screw fit as burrs can throw them out of line when screwed up tight .
  3. any good gunsmith will offer this service for you from chrome plating to gold plating just ask , if your local gunsmith can not chances are he will know of someone who can .
  4. Any one tried thunderbolt pellets yet . I find them very accurate and hard hitting on bunnies .
  5. check the yellow pages you have just shot for local airgun clubs , most clubs have a member with a chrony for club use call them and ask if you can come along to have it checked . Or failing that punch in webley raider tuning in google and on you tube there are loads of sites and videos dedicated to resetting the power on raiders . Raiders have the power set in the factory just by adjusting a screw which is then locked to stop tampering if you bought this from new and have never mucked about with it chances are you are still ok . If you had just cleaned the rifle before testing chances are
  6. Hatsan are a good choice and they have a good range of models with a good backup warranty. Most game shooters frown on the use of semiautos but if you make sure you always pick up your spent cartridges at the end of a shoot they will not moan .
  7. I sell a lot of smk air rifles and the best sellers are in the 208 range for hunting . All have a well made action and come in 4 stock types and are rated at 11.7flbs check out Julys airgun shooter mag for a complete unbiased review on the 208 range .
  8. Dont laugh look at the smk plastic barrel bipod you can pick these up for £12 up on the net and are great for the casual bunny shooter . leaves you with more money to spend on pellets and beer .
  9. if you have a leak on the rifle when filling it would be a good idea to ring brocock and ask how much they would charge for a service . Depending on how much you paid for it a service will bring it up to spec and it will shoot like new . If the leak is on the pump you can get a service kit from your local gunsmith as highland outdoors sell service kits for logun pumps and he will probably have an account with them . Sounds it might be a good idea to get the soapy water out to find where the leak is coming from first , get a mate to apply water mixed with washing up liquid to all connection
  10. Bud is right drill and add screws but use brass screws .steel screws will rust and split the stock after a few years . Try to force as much epoxy glue in the split first before you screw it up tight and leave it to set for a few days before you use it .
  11. you will need the high mounts for clearance of the 56mm lens body
  12. I sell a lot of what you may call cheap air rifles but the best sellers i have sold value for money models for hunting are in the SMK 208 range and the hatsan 60s in .22 . I know all the boys who have spent hundreds of pounds on the uk and euro brands may be spluttering looking at this post but some of these imported Chinese and Turkish models really have improved over the past few years . Look at the 208 range from Smk and you will see a powerful well built and accurate air rifle available in four models and an average power output of 11.7 flbs Check out the review in Julys airgun shooter
  13. Hello all Just found your site and had a good read of the items on the forums and I am very impressed with the content and interesting info . I am a Registered Firearms Dealer I sell all the usual stuff shooters need but specialize in mid range powerful hunting air rifles. I shoot mainly clays at local clubs as I am so busy with my business selling on line I usually only get a few hours on a Sunday free and love lamping for rabbits and do a bit of vermin control with my air rifles when I can . I spend a lot of time tuning air rifles , co2 and springers mainly and the odd pcp . I
