could it be that when they broke in the dog just escaped by it's self , so it could have already been picked up, try ringing the local dog pounds.

my mum had a dobermann that would eat human shit, not none of ours, but round worcester there is a few gypsy camps round by the fields she used to walk in and the dog would pick it up from there, the dog bloody stank after having a munch on that.

the ratting picture at the front is of my two boys, my partners lad, my younger brother and a friends two boys, we had them rats round some chicken pens. the boys were all pleased that they are in there.
